英漢顏色詞國俗語義對比研究

  藍色的天空,綠色的樹,紅色的花……顏色充滿世界,人們隨處可見各種顏色,并對顏色有著種種認識和理解,也不可避免地為顏色添加了許多涵義。各民族語言中都擁有豐富多彩的顏色詞,而且這些顏色詞總是包含豐富的特殊文化內(nèi)涵,也就是國俗語義。“國俗語義是指在詞匯的概念意義上添加歷史文化、民俗風情、地理環(huán)境等文化色彩的語義。”(吳友富,2005)隨著全球化進程的不斷推進和國際交流與合作的日益加強,對英漢語中一些詞的國俗語義的對比研究更顯示出獨特的現(xiàn)實意義。本文將對英漢語言中顏色詞的國俗語義進行對比研究。以往很多學者從認知語言學、跨文化交際、編碼度理論、基本顏色詞理論等視角對顏色詞的構(gòu)成、意義、用法和翻譯等進行了許多相關(guān)的研究和探討,但英漢顏色詞國俗語義的對比研究仍不多見。本研究以圖式理論和跨文化交際理論為理論基礎(chǔ),運用文獻資料、定性、定量,以及對比分析等方法,對“紅、黃、黑、白、綠、藍、灰、紫”八種顏色詞的國俗語義進行對比研究分析,并進而探討國俗語義的理解對英語教與學,英漢互譯和英漢跨文化交流的啟示意義。圖式是“對過去的反應和經(jīng)驗的積極組織”(Bartlett,1932),是以等級形式儲存于長期記憶里的...
