2002年,Ellis提出了以頻率為中心的二語習(xí)得理論。他指出頻率是影響語言學(xué)習(xí)的決定性因素,引起了學(xué)術(shù)界的廣泛討論和研究。國外許多語言學(xué)家對二語習(xí)得中輸入頻率的作用進行了實證研究,其中一個熱門課題是關(guān)于輸入頻率對閱讀中詞匯知識附帶習(xí)得的影響。然而,國內(nèi)僅有很少的實證研究關(guān)注到這一課題。本研究以中國初級水平的英語學(xué)習(xí)者為研究對象,主要考查接觸頻率對通過閱讀附帶習(xí)得二語詞匯的影響。為此,本文提出了三個主要的研究問題：1)中國初級水平的英語學(xué)習(xí)者能否通過閱讀附帶習(xí)得詞匯?2)接觸頻率對中國二語學(xué)習(xí)者在閱讀中附帶習(xí)得詞匯有何影響?3)生詞在文本中至少出現(xiàn)多少次才能確保詞匯附帶習(xí)得的出現(xiàn)?為了回答上述問題,本研究對某中學(xué)的126名初三學(xué)生進行了實證調(diào)查。受試者被任意分為三個實驗組（E2,E6和E10）和一個控制組。三個實驗組分別讀2份、6份和10份閱讀材料,且每天僅讀1份閱讀材料。每份閱讀材料由10篇英語短文組成,每篇短文中包括1個不同的生詞。在全部閱讀訓(xùn)練結(jié)束后,對實驗組進行了一次意料之外的詞匯知識測試,測試由10份測試卷組成,分別測試關(guān)于10個目標詞的產(chǎn)出性和接受性的詞匯拼寫、語法、語義、...
