作為一種不能獨(dú)立指稱的照應(yīng)詞,反身代詞在尋求其先行語過程中無疑要受到句法、語境的雙重影響,因此,單純的句法或非句法理論都不能很好地解釋反身代詞的約束問題,必須運(yùn)用句法同非句法因素相結(jié)合的方法才能更好地對其進(jìn)行分析。HPSG約束理論正是這樣一種結(jié)合了句法、非句法兩方面因素的綜合性分析方法,它對反身代詞約束問題的解釋較喬姆斯基的純句法分析法的GB理論來說更有說服力。首先本文對以往英漢語反身代詞的研究進(jìn)行了一次簡要的梳理,但我們發(fā)現(xiàn),無論是純句法理論還是純非句法理論都未能對英漢語反身代詞做出很好的解釋。反身代詞的約束問題要受到句法、語義或語用等多方面的因素的影響。本文認(rèn)為英、漢語中的反身代詞形式可以被區(qū)分為“句法性”和“非句法性”兩大類,其中,在尋求先行語過程中受句法A-原則約束的稱為句法性反身代詞,如漢語中的“主語傾向性”和“長距離約束”;先行語由非句法因素決定的稱為非句法性反身代詞,如“主人公視角”及漢語所特有的“阻斷效應(yīng)”和“次成分統(tǒng)領(lǐng)”。此外,本文還認(rèn)為表示強(qiáng)調(diào)的反身代詞,即“強(qiáng)勢反身代詞”,也屬于非句法性反身代詞,它具有以下特征:具有形容詞性和副詞性雙重屬性,可分別用來修飾強(qiáng)調(diào)名、...
