論意識(shí)形態(tài)對(duì)外宣翻譯的操縱

隨著中國(guó)改革開(kāi)放的深入和政治經(jīng)濟(jì)文化的迅速發(fā)展,各行各業(yè)幾乎都有對(duì)外宣傳的任務(wù)和要求,外宣翻譯的重要性日益彰顯。然而目前,外宣翻譯僅機(jī)械遵循“忠實(shí)”、“對(duì)等”的傳統(tǒng)翻譯準(zhǔn)則,著重語(yǔ)言層面的轉(zhuǎn)換分析,沒(méi)有意識(shí)到外宣翻譯所發(fā)生的大的文化語(yǔ)境對(duì)翻譯活動(dòng)的影響,不能對(duì)譯前翻譯文本的選擇、翻譯過(guò)程中譯者的改寫以及譯后讀者的接受情況進(jìn)行合理的解釋,外宣翻譯的質(zhì)量亟待提高。以勒弗維爾為代表的操縱學(xué)派認(rèn)為,翻譯不是在真空中進(jìn)行的。翻譯作為一種跨語(yǔ)和跨文化活動(dòng),不僅僅是一種純粹意義上的語(yǔ)言轉(zhuǎn)換,它從一開(kāi)始就不可避免地打上了意識(shí)形態(tài)的烙印,受到諸如歷史、文化、政治、審美情趣等因素的操縱。作為一種特殊的翻譯文體,我國(guó)的外宣翻譯出于對(duì)外文化傳播特性,相對(duì)于其語(yǔ)言功能而言,外宣翻譯的社會(huì)功能更為突出,免不了受到意識(shí)形態(tài)的干預(yù)。鑒于這一特點(diǎn),從意識(shí)形態(tài)角度研究外宣翻譯,有助于揭示外宣翻譯的內(nèi)在規(guī)律,提高外宣翻譯質(zhì)量,為翻譯研究提供更為廣闊的空間和視域。本文主要采用描寫性研究方法,以勒弗維爾的操縱理論為基礎(chǔ),通過(guò)外宣翻譯中意識(shí)形態(tài)操縱作用的研究,突顯意識(shí)形態(tài)在外宣翻譯過(guò)程中的角色與地位,并提出外宣翻譯的策略應(yīng)以“適...
