熟語活用研究已不是國內(nèi)外語言學(xué)研究中的新鮮話題,此領(lǐng)域已產(chǎn)生眾多重要成就,但以往國內(nèi)外對熟語活用的研究大多只局限于對現(xiàn)象的描述,而忽略了現(xiàn)象背后的認知冰山。當然也有一些學(xué)者從生成語法角度來解釋此現(xiàn)象,但解釋力還是不夠。本文主要采用概念整合理論、構(gòu)式語法、概念隱喻以及概念轉(zhuǎn)喻理論,研究英漢熟語活用的概念整合過程與認知機制。根據(jù)概念整合理論,本文認為概念整合在理解熟語變體方面起著主要作用。概念整合機制中有四個互相聯(lián)系,互相映射的心理空間,其中一個輸入空間是熟語變體。因為所有的熟語變體都在一定程度上恢復(fù)了熟語字面義,因此另一輸入空間是熟語。類屬空間是兩輸入空間的抽象結(jié)構(gòu)。兩輸入空間有選擇地映射到合成空間,在合成空間里,它們經(jīng)歷了組合、完善、擴展三個過程后產(chǎn)生了層創(chuàng)結(jié)構(gòu),也就是熟語變體的意義。其中,組合讓熟語與熟語變體形成新關(guān)系,完善是借助背景知識和文化完善與激活合成空間結(jié)構(gòu),擴展是根據(jù)層創(chuàng)邏輯進行認知運作,運用人的想象力根據(jù)層創(chuàng)結(jié)構(gòu)對熟語變體細節(jié)進行無限的擴展。熟語與熟語變體都是構(gòu)式,它們有獨立于其成分的構(gòu)式義。熟語構(gòu)式與構(gòu)式闖入詞的互動貫穿活用的整個整合過程,其中闖入詞不僅包括熟語以外的詞...
