隱喻,作為一種無(wú)處不在的語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象,普遍存在于我們的日常語(yǔ)言之中。隱喻研究源遠(yuǎn)流長(zhǎng),至今已有兩千多年的歷史,各種豐富的理論也基于此研究而產(chǎn)生。以亞里士多德為代表的傳統(tǒng)隱喻理論研究認(rèn)為隱喻是詞語(yǔ)層次上的一種修辭方式,是對(duì)正常語(yǔ)言規(guī)則的一種偏離。而后來(lái)以布萊克為代表的互動(dòng)論認(rèn)為隱喻是兩個(gè)成分之間的互動(dòng),即兩個(gè)分屬于不同義域的詞語(yǔ)在語(yǔ)義上互相作用,最終產(chǎn)生新的意義�；�(dòng)論為從認(rèn)知角度研究隱喻作了一定的理論鋪墊,從此隱喻研究進(jìn)入了一個(gè)新的階段。但語(yǔ)言學(xué)家所公認(rèn)的從認(rèn)知角度研究隱喻的標(biāo)志性著作是Lakoff和Johnson在1980年所著的《我們賴以生存的隱喻》一書(shū)。在書(shū)中,Lakoff和Johnson提出了“概念隱喻”,并指出了隱喻的實(shí)質(zhì)。在闡述隱喻的運(yùn)作機(jī)制時(shí),認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)家引入了“始源域”和“目標(biāo)域”來(lái)解釋它們之間的映射。始源域通常為人們?nèi)粘Ｋ熘�、有形的、具體的且結(jié)構(gòu)相對(duì)清晰的事物或概念,而目標(biāo)域通常是人們所陌生的、無(wú)形的、抽象的且缺乏內(nèi)部結(jié)構(gòu)的概念。實(shí)際上,概念隱喻的認(rèn)知力就是將始源域的部分特征映射到目標(biāo)域,從而對(duì)目標(biāo)域進(jìn)行重新認(rèn)識(shí)和描述。然而,隱喻的映射并非隨意產(chǎn)生的,它是植根于人類的...
