近年來有關(guān)語氣系統(tǒng)方面的研究不少,但綜合來看雖然對英漢兩種語言的研究者都對各自的語氣系統(tǒng)有所研究,但對英漢語氣系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行對比及其相關(guān)成果都不算太多。本文主要采取對比、歸納、描述等方法對英漢兩種語氣系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行對比,從宏觀上找出二者的共性和個性,繼而從微觀上對表達(dá)語氣系統(tǒng)的主要手段做具體比較,找出二者的異同點(diǎn)。然而由于語氣系統(tǒng)又大又雜,不同民族的認(rèn)知差異較大,以及前人所做研究成果具有一定局限性等原因,本文所做研究基本上是從英漢陳述語氣和疑問語氣兩大方面入手,必要時(shí)也會涉及祈使語氣和感嘆語氣。經(jīng)對比,發(fā)現(xiàn)二者的相同點(diǎn)主要在于：二者具有多種相同的表達(dá)手段且都能將之綜合運(yùn)用,二者都有較多的相同功能類別,二者共有語氣隱喻手段能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)不同語氣間的意義轉(zhuǎn)換,同時(shí)二者也都是多層次的系統(tǒng)。二者的不同點(diǎn)主要在于：漢語語氣表達(dá)比較注重交際對象,體現(xiàn)以人為本,而英語語氣更注重與現(xiàn)實(shí)世界的聯(lián)系；漢語語氣的表達(dá)具有靈活性,即柔性,而英語語氣具有剛性,更容易把握；漢語語氣的表達(dá)通常與體關(guān)系密切,是體突顯的語言,而英語與時(shí)態(tài)密不可分,是時(shí)突顯的語言；漢語語氣的表達(dá)主要由語氣詞來實(shí)現(xiàn),而英語主要靠動詞的屈折變化來體現(xiàn)等。此外...
