關(guān)于中美貿(mào)易問題新聞報(bào)道的批評(píng)性隱喻分析

在世界經(jīng)濟(jì)突飛猛進(jìn),全球化進(jìn)程逐步加快的今天,國(guó)家之間的經(jīng)濟(jì)交流、依賴和互補(bǔ)也日益深刻。中國(guó)和美國(guó),作為世界上最大的發(fā)展中國(guó)家和最大的發(fā)達(dá)國(guó)家,其雙邊貿(mào)易對(duì)這兩個(gè)國(guó)家乃至對(duì)全球的經(jīng)濟(jì)都有著舉足輕重的影響。在兩國(guó)頻繁的貿(mào)易互動(dòng)中,不免產(chǎn)生一些爭(zhēng)端和摩擦,而在貿(mào)易爭(zhēng)端的背后,也往往隱藏著兩國(guó)之間的政治地位和綜合國(guó)力的博弈。中美兩國(guó)媒體對(duì)雙方的貿(mào)易問題做了大量的深入報(bào)道。一方面,媒體在報(bào)道中及時(shí)地披露事實(shí),另一方面,也會(huì)通過新聞報(bào)道的角度、語(yǔ)言形式的選擇等等手段體現(xiàn)自己的態(tài)度和立場(chǎng)。本研究主要關(guān)注概念隱喻在中美兩國(guó)媒體有關(guān)貿(mào)易問題的新聞報(bào)道中的使用情況,試圖對(duì)中美兩種語(yǔ)料中的隱喻進(jìn)行比較分析,從而揭示中美媒體在隱喻使用上的異同點(diǎn)以及隱喻選擇上的傾向,并嘗試探索隱藏在隱喻背后的媒體態(tài)度、價(jià)值觀和意識(shí)形態(tài)。本研究采用的理論框架是由Chateris-Black在2004年提出的批評(píng)性隱喻分析方法。此方法包括隱喻的識(shí)別,闡釋和說明三個(gè)步驟,旨在通過對(duì)隱喻選擇和使用進(jìn)行分析,揭示隱喻與認(rèn)知理解和社會(huì)知識(shí)的關(guān)系,從而進(jìn)一步發(fā)現(xiàn)隱喻選擇背后所隱藏的情感、政治和意識(shí)形態(tài)動(dòng)機(jī)。本研究從新華網(wǎng)和紐約時(shí)報(bào)中各選取...
