本文從語(yǔ)法化的視角,試對(duì)英漢情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can和能進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析。學(xué)者們已經(jīng)從不同的角度對(duì)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞進(jìn)行了研究,但是仍然有很大的空間值得去探索。傳統(tǒng)的對(duì)比研究從共時(shí)層面對(duì)英漢情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can和能進(jìn)行窮盡性的描述,試圖找出語(yǔ)言的相同和差異之處。他們只注重靜態(tài)的描述忽略了語(yǔ)言的動(dòng)態(tài)演變,因而不能很好的解釋情態(tài)動(dòng)詞各義項(xiàng)的關(guān)系,也不能從本質(zhì)上分析語(yǔ)言相似性產(chǎn)生的原因。因此,本文將從新的視角對(duì)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞進(jìn)行研究和分析。本文不僅要探討兩個(gè)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞語(yǔ)法化演變過(guò)程中的相同和差異之處,還要挖掘語(yǔ)義演變背后的認(rèn)知?jiǎng)右蚝蜋C(jī)制,彌補(bǔ)了前人研究的不足。在該理論框架下,本文從語(yǔ)料庫(kù)中搜羅真實(shí)的語(yǔ)料,從歷時(shí)的角度對(duì)英漢情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can和能語(yǔ)法化路徑、機(jī)制、演變過(guò)程中的相同和差異等方面進(jìn)行分析。通過(guò)研究,發(fā)現(xiàn)了英漢兩種語(yǔ)言具有很多相似的語(yǔ)義演變機(jī)制,進(jìn)而可以幫助我們更好地了解英漢兩種語(yǔ)言的語(yǔ)義特征�；谌祟惞餐恼J(rèn)知能力,語(yǔ)法化的機(jī)制可以為今后語(yǔ)言共性研究提供有價(jià)值的線索。
