【摘要】：英國學者I.A.理查茲以現(xiàn)代主義觀念為底蘊的修辭思想對早期錢鍾書的翻譯觀影響甚巨。主要由于理氏的影響,早期錢鍾書認為譯文應在風格上向原作無限靠攏,嚴復因戕害原作風格而受到嚴厲批評;后期錢鍾書則大略由于個人翻譯實踐與文化政治語境的緣故而姿態(tài)陡變,在為同樣背離原作風格的林紓百般回護中發(fā)表了一系列全新的翻譯觀念。這些觀念極大地突破了理查茲的束縛,充分肯定譯者"策略性使用翻譯"的歷史文化功用,從而與當代西方修辭主流思潮深度契合。
[Abstract]:British scholar I.A. Richards' rhetoric thought based on modernism has a great influence on Qian Zhongshu's view of translation. Mainly because of the influence of Richie, Qian Zhongshu thought that the translation should be infinitely close to the original works in style, and Yan Fu was severely criticized because of the damage to the style of the original works. In the later period Qian Zhongshu changed sharply because of personal translation practice and cultural and political context and published a series of new translation ideas in Lin Shu's recuperation which also deviated from the original style. These ideas have greatly broken through Richards' constraints and fully affirmed the historical and cultural function of the translator's "strategic use of translation", which is in deep agreement with the mainstream trend of thought in contemporary western rhetoric.
