歐洲非英語發(fā)達國家學術領域母語使用的問題與對策

【摘要】:在英語成為國際學術通用語的趨勢下,其他語言在國際學術界逐漸被邊緣化。歐洲學者在上世紀八九十年代就意識到,處理英語和母語的關系是學術領域一個核心且棘手的問題。這些國家一方面不斷提高學者英語水平,在國際上推廣本國科研成果,另一方面也在本國學術領域鼓勵母語使用,提高母語創(chuàng)造和傳播新知識的能力。歐洲發(fā)達國家在這方面有比較豐富的經(jīng)驗,比如制定學術語言規(guī)劃政策、資助母語推廣、鼓勵雙語發(fā)表、創(chuàng)辦多語期刊等。這些做法可以為我國學術領域的中文使用提供參考。
[Abstract]:With the trend of English becoming an international academic language, other languages have been marginalized in international academic circles. European scholars realized in the 1980s and 1990s that dealing with the relationship between English and their mother tongue was a central and thorny issue in the academic field. On the one hand, these countries continuously improve the English level of scholars and promote their own scientific research results internationally. On the other hand, they also encourage the use of their mother tongue in their academic field and improve their ability to create and disseminate new knowledge. European developed countries have rich experience in this field, such as formulating academic language planning policies, subsidizing the promotion of mother tongue, encouraging bilingual publication, and establishing multilingual journals. These methods can provide a reference for the use of Chinese in the academic field of our country.
