論譯者的語境化能力
[Abstract]:The role of context in translation is obvious to all. In order to explain this role, translation context has been talked about by scholars at home and abroad since the 1990s. However, different scholars have great differences in understanding this concept. The reason for this difference lies in the different angles, levels or levels selected by scholars when studying the context of translation. Their conclusions are often based on their own perspectives or even some specific issues, so they lack integrity. In order to understand the translation context in a holistic sense, this paper, based on contextual realism, guided by holism and combined with relevant studies, combines macro analysis with microanalysis, and concludes that translation context is a cognitive form of relational entity. Have a series of dialectical characteristics. The cognitive and relational nature of translation context determines the absolute restriction of translation context on the process of translation. Based on the observation and analysis of contextual constraints in the process of translation, combining with Gert's theory of relevance translation and the relevant analysis of translation process, the process of translation can be interpreted as a process of continuous contextualization. The process of understanding the original text is the process of deconstructing the meaning representation under the action of contextualized cues, while the process of producing the translation is the process of producing the target text under the action of contextualized cues. Interpreting the translation process as a contextualization process, the translator's contextualization competence has the same significance as the translator's translation competence. Based on the analysis of contextualization process and the examples of poetry translation, the translator's contextualization ability can be deconstructed into five kinds of abilities, including text processing ability, experiential knowledge retrieval ability and information hypothesis reasoning ability. The expressive ability of meaning representation and the ability of text organization of the target text. In addition, based on the understanding of the characteristics of the translation context, this paper also summarizes the characteristics of the translator's contextualization ability, including temporal-spatial present, individual differences and construction openness. The cultivation of the translator's contextualization ability can not be separated from the cultivation of each sub-competence. The five abilities of the translator's contextualization competence are mainly determined by three major factors, including the translator's language proficiency, the scope and salience of knowledge and experience, and the systematization and structure of knowledge and experience. The cultivation of the translator's contextualization ability depends on the improvement of these three factors. Therefore, the present study puts forward some concrete suggestions on the improvement of each factor in order to provide some enlightenment for the cultivation of the translator's contextualization competence.
