【摘要】：尼日利亞的語言教育是一道敏感性極強(qiáng)的政治議題。殖民政府施行的"分而治之"管理原則有礙于獨(dú)立后的尼日利亞國內(nèi)民族融合,由此滋生出三大主體民族間的語言嫉妒與少數(shù)民族對大族沙文主義的擔(dān)憂和語言不安全感。通過回顧尼日利亞民族分化式的語言教育政策的演變歷史,解讀尼日利亞現(xiàn)行的《國家教育政策》內(nèi)容與實(shí)施狀況,發(fā)現(xiàn)其殖民歷史所遺留的語言級差結(jié)構(gòu),將英語和本土語言置于失衡的發(fā)展框架中,同時諸多不利因素制約了該國母語教育和多語言教育目標(biāo)的最終實(shí)現(xiàn)。
[Abstract]:Language education in Nigeria is a highly sensitive political issue. The principle of "divide-and-rule" implemented by the colonial government hinders the national integration in Nigeria after independence, which leads to linguistic envy among the three main ethnic groups and worries and language insecurity of ethnic minorities towards the chauvinism of the large ethnic group. By reviewing the evolving history of Nigeria's ethnically differentiated language education policy, this paper interprets the content and implementation of the current National Education Policy in Nigeria, and finds out the language differential structure left over from its colonial history, English and native language are placed in the unbalanced development frame, and many unfavorable factors restrict the ultimate realization of the goal of mother-tongue education and multilingual education.
