【摘要】：本文試圖考察方言對區(qū)域間資源錯配的影響。利用中國行政區(qū)劃邊界與漢語方言邊界不完全重合的特點,本文將方言與制度的影響區(qū)分開來。采用1986—2007年間行政區(qū)劃邊界從未發(fā)生過變動的1 984個縣級單位,本文識別出了5 043對不重復(fù)的相鄰兩縣,與《中國工業(yè)企業(yè)數(shù)據(jù)庫》和《漢語方言大詞典》匹配后實證分析發(fā)現(xiàn):方言上的不同顯著增強了相鄰兩縣間的資源錯配。平均而言,方言不同的相鄰兩縣間生產(chǎn)率差距比方言相同的相鄰兩縣間高出4.7%左右。
[Abstract]:This paper attempts to investigate the impact of dialects on resource mismatch between regions.Based on the incomplete overlap between the boundaries of administrative divisions in China and the boundaries of Chinese dialects, this paper distinguishes the influence between dialects and institutions.By using 1,984 county-level units whose boundaries of administrative divisions have never changed during the period 1986-2007, 5,043 pairs of non-repeated adjacent counties have been identified in this paper.After matching with the Industrial Enterprise Database of China and the Dictionary of Chinese dialects, it is found that the differences in dialects significantly enhance the mismatch of resources between the two neighboring counties.On average, the productivity gap between two neighboring counties with different dialects is about 4.7% higher than that between neighboring counties with the same dialect.
