作為世界聞名的作家和學者，學貫中西的林語堂一生用優(yōu)美的中英文向國內(nèi)外讀者貢獻了大量的著作，在國際文壇上占有一席之地。在他最有影響力的英文長篇小說《京華煙云》中，他把博大精深的中國文化介紹給世界，使他四次成為諾貝爾文學獎的候選人。該書有多個中文譯本，其中張振玉譯本在中國大陸及臺灣香港地一版再版，具有旺盛的生命力。本文試圖通過從文體學的角度分析該小說的漢譯，闡明文體學（尤其是文學文體學）對小說翻譯及翻譯批評的價值和重要指導意義，從而探索小說翻譯的主要特征和規(guī)律，并從文體學角度論證張振玉譯本的成功之處。本文除了引言和結(jié)語以外，共分為五個部分。 引言部分簡明扼要地介紹本文的主題和基本結(jié)構(gòu)； 第一章介紹林語堂、《京華煙云》的時代背景、內(nèi)容、影響及意義，分析該小說譯本普及情況，尤其是本文所涉及的中文譯本的概況，簡要敘述此譯本的譯者——翻譯家張振玉教授的貢獻； 第二章首先簡要介紹文體學，特別是文學文體學，闡述了它對小說翻譯的重要意義。接著就小說中最常見的一類文體——敘述體的特征進行分析，并以《京華煙云》中的敘述為例，論述這類文體的特征對其翻譯的影響； 第三章分析該小說中對話體...
