[Abstract]:The theory of Yin Yang and five elements is one of the important systems of Chinese traditional culture. It is the theoretical basis for explaining the antagonism and the rise and fall of the two substances in nature in ancient China and the philosophical conceptual basis for explaining the origin and diversity of all things in the world. The essence of the ontology of Chinese philosophy lies in such a formula: heaven creates Yin and Yang, Yin and Yang become five elements, five elements change into all things, and the way of existence and mutual relationship of all things always pursue a kind of "harmony". This is the traditional Chinese view of the universe, but also the fundamental spirit of ancient Chinese aesthetics. This theory of Yin and Yang, which developed from the Southern Chu area, and the five elements of Yin and Yang, which were combined with the five elements of the Yin and Yang people of the North, expounded the unity of opposites of the five elements of the yin and yang and their philosophical ideas which are mutually exclusive to the traditional aesthetic thought of our country. The formation of art theory, Has had the very important influence and the huge propulsive function. Laozi said: "Daosheng one, life two, three, three things, all things negative Yin and embrace Yang, Chong Qi think and." This is China's first cosmic generation system. This paper holds that there is no doubt that all things are born from heaven and earth yin and yang, Qi as the basic element of the world under the interaction of yin and yang in nature, the five elements of interaction, the interaction of the five elements, the creation of infinite changes in the universe; And because Yin and Yang opposite each other, the five elements to each other, everything can develop harmoniously. This shows that the Chinese have long regarded the universe as an interconnected whole, and there is a profound interaction between heaven and earth. On the basis of experience, the symmetries and opposites are gradually summed up as the theory of "yin and yang, five elements", and by the aid of these basic elements and some other secondary relations arising therefrom, the universe is formed into a unified whole. This idea of unity, balance, harmony, harmony and perfection has become a remarkable feature of Chinese traditional art. This paper takes the origin and evolution of the theory of yin and yang as the starting point to study its relationship with Chinese traditional art, starting from its profound philosophical significance, taking "the theory of deficiency and reality" and "view of yin and yang" as the main object, and taking the theory of "qi" as the main object. The thought of "harmony" is regarded as the starting point to study its aesthetic guidance to Chinese traditional art and try to sort out the essence of Chinese traditional thought.
