【摘要】："文化負(fù)載詞"是民族文化的標(biāo)志,即具有鮮明特色的民族文化在語言詞匯中直接或間接的反映。本文旨在采用定性研究和定量研究相結(jié)合的方法,對《紅樓夢》中五類物質(zhì)文化負(fù)載詞(服飾、飲食、器用、建筑和醫(yī)藥)和其在霍克思英譯本中的譯文進(jìn)行對比分析后,定量統(tǒng)計(jì)各種翻譯方法所占的比例,力求發(fā)現(xiàn)該譯本在處理物質(zhì)文化負(fù)載詞時所使用的翻譯策略的特點(diǎn)和總體傾向性,從而為研究物質(zhì)文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯問題提供一個視角。
[Abstract]:"Culture-loaded words" is the symbol of national culture, that is, the national culture with distinct characteristics is directly or indirectly reflected in language vocabulary. The purpose of this paper is to make a comparative analysis of the five categories of material and cultural loaded words (clothing, food, utensils, architecture and medicine) and their translations in Hawkes' English translation by combining qualitative and quantitative studies. In order to find out the characteristics and general tendency of translation strategies used in the translation of material-culture-loaded words, this paper attempts to provide a perspective for the study of the translation of material-culture-loaded words.
