【摘要】:翻譯活動(dòng)至少要涉及兩種語(yǔ)言文化傳統(tǒng),因而如何理解原語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)用涵義和文化特征,如何用最貼切的翻譯策略使之成功地反映在譯文中,這是任何成功的翻譯者必須解決的根本問(wèn)題。這些問(wèn)題的范圍、性質(zhì)、難易度會(huì)因兩種語(yǔ)言文化的差異而有所不同。在漫長(zhǎng)的翻譯史中,人們圍繞這些問(wèn)題在理論和實(shí)踐兩方面進(jìn)行了不懈的研究,就翻譯的性質(zhì)、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、內(nèi)容、可譯性等問(wèn)題做出了界定,就如何做到成功翻譯提出了各種理論,探討了許多卓有成效的策略技巧。盡管翻譯學(xué)是一門獨(dú)立的學(xué)科,但它并不是孤立發(fā)展的,而是不斷從其他學(xué)科尤其是語(yǔ)言學(xué),吸取理論來(lái)充實(shí)壯大自己,因而幾乎每一種語(yǔ)言學(xué)理論都會(huì)產(chǎn)生一種相應(yīng)的翻譯理論。本文即借鑒語(yǔ)用學(xué)理論中的涵義理論來(lái)探討如何實(shí)現(xiàn)文學(xué)翻譯的語(yǔ)用等效。 翻譯的等效問(wèn)題是現(xiàn)代翻譯研究中頗具爭(zhēng)論性的一個(gè)議題,奈達(dá)、卡特福德等諸多翻譯家和翻譯理論家都對(duì)其提出過(guò)定義,但在其內(nèi)涵及實(shí)現(xiàn)程度上卻各有異同,爭(zhēng)論不休。本文認(rèn)為“等效”絕不是數(shù)學(xué)意義上的簡(jiǎn)單“等值”或“等同”,而是一個(gè)涉及到語(yǔ)言文化等各個(gè)層面的涵義豐富的概念,翻譯者所追求的也不是絕對(duì)的等值,而是最大限度的使譯文讀者對(duì)譯文的理解與原文讀者對(duì)原文的理解盡可能一致,這種“一致”的效果只能是相對(duì)的而不是絕對(duì)的,,因而等效翻譯只能是一種相對(duì)的概念而不是絕對(duì)的概念。 本文簡(jiǎn)單回顧了中西方翻譯理論特別是等效理論的發(fā)展,在對(duì)其對(duì)比分析之后,本文指出要使涵義寬泛的等效理論在翻譯實(shí)踐和翻譯評(píng)價(jià)中更具操作性,必須找到一個(gè)切入點(diǎn),而在文學(xué)翻譯中,翻譯者面臨的最大障礙就是如何正確理解源語(yǔ)的隱含意義并在譯文中恰如其分的表達(dá)出來(lái)。本文認(rèn)為在文學(xué)翻譯中運(yùn)用格賴斯的合作原則可以最大限度保證原文作者與譯語(yǔ)讀者之間的“合作”,即讓譯語(yǔ)讀者最大可能體會(huì)原文作者發(fā)出的信息,本原則中的含義理論正是如何理解會(huì)話含義即語(yǔ)用意義。本文對(duì)合作原則的內(nèi)容、語(yǔ)用意義的獲得及合作原則在文學(xué)翻譯中的可行性進(jìn)行了討論,并對(duì)以往的翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、翻譯原則作了分析比較,最后提出了語(yǔ)用等效的翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn):利用含義理論等語(yǔ)用學(xué)原理,實(shí)現(xiàn)語(yǔ)用意義的等效。本文認(rèn)為語(yǔ)用等效既是實(shí)現(xiàn)等效翻譯的良好途徑,也是衡量翻譯優(yōu)劣的切實(shí)可行的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。 本文正是以等效原則和含義理論作為理論基礎(chǔ),從如何獲得原文的語(yǔ)用意義、如 何理解原文的語(yǔ)用意義及如何在譯文中體現(xiàn)原文的語(yǔ)用意義三個(gè)方面對(duì)實(shí)現(xiàn)文學(xué)翻 譯中語(yǔ)用意義的等效進(jìn)行了較為細(xì)致的探討,并對(duì)語(yǔ)用意義的等效原則分析論證,通 過(guò)諸多例子論述了這一原則對(duì)翻譯實(shí)踐和譯文評(píng)價(jià)的指導(dǎo)作用。 本文只對(duì)語(yǔ)用等效原則進(jìn)行了初步探討,仍有許多問(wèn)題值得進(jìn)一步討論,比如接 受者這一概念,等效論要求譯者充分考慮接受者的效果,那么譯者有沒(méi)有必要去考慮 每一個(gè)具體的接受者?再如如何劃定“效果”和“譯文對(duì)接受者的作用”及“接受者 對(duì)譯文的反映”三者的界限?如何深入的理論論證語(yǔ)用意義的等效是翻譯等效的基 礎(chǔ)?因此,隨著人們對(duì)翻譯理論的深入研究,會(huì)對(duì)這一原則提出許多異議,但正是這 些異議的提出和解決才使得它不斷完善。 關(guān)鍵詞:等效翻譯;合作原則;語(yǔ)用意義;語(yǔ)用等效原則 分類號(hào):HO59 Vll
[Abstract]:The translation activities should involve at least two linguistic and cultural traditions , so how to understand the pragmatic meaning and cultural characteristics of the primitive , and how to use the most appropriate translation strategies to reflect the fundamental problems that translators must solve . In the long translation history , there are various theories on how to achieve successful translation .








The equivalence of translation is one of the most controversial issues in modern translation studies , and many translators and theorists of translation theorists , such as Nida and Kateford , have put forward their definitions , but there are differences and arguments in their content and realization , but rather than absolute equivalence in the meaning and realization of translation , the effect of translation is only relative rather than absolute , so the equivalent translation can only be a relative concept rather than an absolute concept .








This paper briefly reviews the development of Chinese and Western translation theories , especially the equivalence theory , and points out that it is necessary to find a breakthrough point in the translation practice and translation evaluation .
