【摘要】：在當代西方社會,"藝術"的本質及其存在形態(tài),與前現代社會相比早已發(fā)生了深刻變化。作為一位有前瞻性眼光的藝術批評家,哈羅德·羅森堡在20世紀80年代初,針對當代社會藝術品形態(tài)的轉型和傳播過程、傳播環(huán)境的變化,對藝術的本質和審美上的特性做了探索性的梳理總結。他的這篇藝術理論文獻在今天讀來仍有較高的參考價值。鄭式將此文譯出并增加了注釋,推薦讀者關注。視覺藝術管理的概念引入國內不過幾年時間,人們已經越來越意識到對視覺藝術進行有效管理的重要性。本期刊發(fā)的馬健的文章,對國外藝術銀行的運作模式做了概要性的介紹。這種藝術管理方式在國內目前還處于起步階段,多數人對這一"新事物"也還沒有清晰的概念,因此馬健一文非常值得一讀。
