【摘要】： 圖案的本體研究是指圍繞圖案本身的諸多特征，尋找其客觀規(guī) 律和根源的研究。成形于古希臘末期的莨苕葉飾漩渦紋樣在外觀和 構成形式上具有極為顯著的特點，這些特點使它受到大量運用和推 廣，其基本圖式，作為諸多變體的母體在整個世界紋樣史上占據(jù)舉 足輕重的地位。本文試圖圍繞莨苕葉飾漩渦紋樣這一重要的裝飾母 題，依據(jù)圖例，追溯這一紋樣的起源和成形，考察成形中圖案在時 間和空間上形成交流的原因和意義，討論象征意義和起源之間的關 系以及象征意義與形式之間的關系，以及闡述這一紋樣的成形與演 變在審美上的意義，來展開對圖案的本體問題的討論。從中得出以 下結論：1，莨苕葉飾漩渦紋樣最終起源于埃及的蓮花紋樣。圖式 上的延續(xù)性是得出這一結論的基礎。2，交流過程中，圖式在變化 中維持其內在既定的秩序。3，圖案因其象征意義而生，象征意義 則借助圖案得到加強。形式特征賦予了圖案象征的潛力。4，圖案 作為審美理想的載體之一，體現(xiàn)著各民族文化的精神內涵。
