【摘要】：近年來,大陸出版了大量的外國通俗文學作品,其中不乏蟬聯(lián)暢銷書榜的小說,如《達芬奇密碼》、《哈利·波特》、《暮光之城》等。出版商看到機遇后,更是加快了引進通俗小說的腳步。但是編輯組織的譯者卻非職業(yè)翻譯,素質良莠不齊,有些譯者經驗豐富,譯作之優(yōu)美甚至超越原作；有些譯者則缺乏經驗,抑或不負責任地亂譯,其譯作帶有濃重的翻譯腔,甚至是錯譯連篇,使讀者翻閱時不知所云。與此同時,通俗小說的翻譯市場長期缺乏規(guī)則、標準,而學富五車的翻譯家卻多著眼于研究詩歌和古代經典小說的翻譯,忽略了對外國通俗小說的翻譯研究。 本論文希望通過實例證明格特的關聯(lián)翻譯理論適于指導通俗小說的英譯漢實踐,并且將這一理論作為除去翻譯腔的理論基礎。首先,作者會介紹通俗小說的基礎知識以及譯者在其中的角色；然后,作者將對一些交際理論和翻譯理論作簡要介紹,重點介紹關聯(lián)理論與關聯(lián)翻譯理論；作為例證來源的五部通俗小說會在第三部分予以簡要介紹；第四部分則是為思果的主張找到理論支持,并以大量分門別類的翻譯實例來證明格特的理論適用于通俗小說翻譯,這其中包括作者的親身體驗。
