　　艾薩克·巴什維斯·辛格是美國當(dāng)代最富盛名的猶太小說家之一,1978年因其“以植根于波蘭猶太傳統(tǒng)文化的敘事藝術(shù)栩栩如生地刻畫了人類生存的普遍境狀”而獲諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。其代表作《盧布林的魔術(shù)師》突出表現(xiàn)了主人公雅夏在背棄猶太傳統(tǒng)文化后去追求另一種文化,最后又回歸其傳統(tǒng)文化的心路歷程。本文認(rèn)為,背棄與回歸是該小說最突出的主題,其中主人公雅夏的背棄與回歸主要體現(xiàn)在他對(duì)猶太身份和猶太傳統(tǒng)道德的背棄與回歸這兩個(gè)方面。對(duì)民族身份和傳統(tǒng)道德的背棄與回歸均屬于文化現(xiàn)象,所以本文試圖以史蒂芬·格林布拉特的“文化詩學(xué)”為理論基礎(chǔ),將《盧布林的魔術(shù)師》中背棄與回歸這一主題置于猶太歷史與傳統(tǒng)文化的語境中加以考察,并對(duì)其進(jìn)行文化闡釋,力圖揭示文學(xué)與文化之間的相互關(guān)系。 全文共分為四章。第一章簡要描述猶太人從背棄到回歸其猶太身份和傳統(tǒng)道德的心路歷程,并簡述背棄與回歸這一主題在辛格文學(xué)創(chuàng)作中的體現(xiàn)。第二章側(cè)重分析《盧布林的魔術(shù)師》中雅夏對(duì)其猶太身份的背棄與回歸及其原因,認(rèn)為雅夏對(duì)猶太身份的背棄與回歸主要表現(xiàn)在猶太信仰、猶太教儀和猶太著裝這三個(gè)方面。猶太傳統(tǒng)道德主要記載在《舊約圣經(jīng)》中的“十戒”中。第三章主要探析雅夏從背...
