古希臘喜劇同悲劇一樣,具有重要的社會(huì)歷史意義,觸及了當(dāng)時(shí)重大的政治和社會(huì)問(wèn)題。喜劇與悲劇只不過(guò)是在題材選擇上性質(zhì)有所不同,兩者重要性上相差無(wú)幾。本文分析了喜劇的起源和發(fā)展及其社會(huì)功能和歷史作用的變化,重點(diǎn)分析阿里斯托芬喜劇創(chuàng)作的具體類型、主要宗旨與其反映出的阿里斯托芬的社會(huì)政治觀念。 古希臘喜劇大體上有三個(gè)發(fā)展階段,即以政治諷刺和社會(huì)諷刺為主要特征的舊喜劇;政治諷刺明顯弱化,偏重社會(huì)諷刺劇的中期喜劇,以及一般不涉及政治,以男女間的愛(ài)情為主要題材新喜劇。阿里斯托芬采用夸張漫畫(huà)式的手法表現(xiàn)生活,嘲笑現(xiàn)實(shí)中的丑陋和畸形。綜觀阿里斯托芬的喜劇,主要集中反映了以下政治社會(huì)傾向:宣揚(yáng)反戰(zhàn)情緒,倡導(dǎo)和平主義,譴責(zé)侵略戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)造成的災(zāi)難,抨擊政治煽動(dòng)家以及好戰(zhàn)分子;譴責(zé)寡頭政治,抨擊民主制度缺點(diǎn),針砭民眾的弱點(diǎn),主張溫和的民主政策;關(guān)注貧富矛盾,探索平均財(cái)富;批判詭辯思想,崇尚舊式教育。
