傳統(tǒng)上,關(guān)于維多利亞時(shí)代(1837-1901) 桂冠詩(shī)人阿爾弗雷德·丁尼生 (1809-1892) 及其詩(shī)歌的研究是從兩個(gè)角度來(lái)進(jìn)行的。一是以詩(shī)人的長(zhǎng)子哈雷 姆·丁尼生所著的《備忘錄》為代表的傳記研究;一是以丁尼生的宗教信仰為研 究對(duì)象的主題研究。這兩個(gè)角度往往會(huì)有交叉的情況。丁尼生對(duì)英國(guó)讀者來(lái)說(shuō)已 家喻戶曉,然而,在中國(guó)讀者中卻鮮為人知,更是缺少系統(tǒng)的研究。本文在以往 的研究基礎(chǔ)上,從詩(shī)中言者的角度進(jìn)一步探討丁尼生的心路歷程。 包括引言與結(jié)論,本文分為五個(gè)部分。 第一章主要研究丁尼生的早期詩(shī)歌《藝術(shù)殿堂》。這首詩(shī)中的藝術(shù)家既是詩(shī) 中言者,又是現(xiàn)實(shí)中丁尼生本人。在詩(shī)中根據(jù)主題體現(xiàn)的需要,詩(shī)中言者巧妙地 變換著自己與代表藝術(shù)的詩(shī)歌的關(guān)系,由親密到疏遠(yuǎn),體現(xiàn)了早期丁尼生對(duì)藝術(shù) 和社會(huì)之間關(guān)系的矛盾觀點(diǎn)。 第二章主要研究丁尼生的力作《悼念集》。這本詩(shī)集不僅抒發(fā)了丁尼生對(duì)英 年早逝的摯友的悼念,而且記錄了詩(shī)人由絕望、到懷疑、到最終堅(jiān)定信念的心理 變化過(guò)程。在這部詩(shī)集里,作為丁尼生的代言人的詩(shī)中言者對(duì)詩(shī)中聽(tīng)者的有目的 選擇恰恰體現(xiàn)了這一情感與精神的演化過(guò)程。 第三章主要研究丁尼生晚年所著的《王者...
