　　威廉·卡洛斯·威廉斯是二十世紀(jì)美國(guó)詩(shī)人中最有特色、最卓越的詩(shī)人之一。自從六十年代以來(lái)，越來(lái)越多的美國(guó)詩(shī)人遵奉他的詩(shī)學(xué)主張。他明確反對(duì)“歐洲中心”詩(shī)學(xué)傳統(tǒng)，號(hào)召美國(guó)詩(shī)人拋棄英國(guó)和歐洲的詩(shī)歌創(chuàng)作傳統(tǒng)，嘗試詩(shī)歌主題、題材、語(yǔ)言和技巧等方面的革新。他以語(yǔ)言游戲?qū)嶒?yàn)，運(yùn)用拼貼、復(fù)調(diào)和碎片化等技巧，立足美國(guó)本土進(jìn)行詩(shī)學(xué)革新，創(chuàng)作了許多與現(xiàn)代主義迥然不同的詩(shī)歌作品。鑒于威廉斯的創(chuàng)作生涯與后現(xiàn)代主義在美國(guó)的出現(xiàn)有著歷史時(shí)期上的重疊，故有必要從后現(xiàn)代主義文學(xué)和文化語(yǔ)境來(lái)研究他的詩(shī)作與詩(shī)學(xué)，來(lái)分析他的詩(shī)歌是否具有某些后現(xiàn)代主義特征。本文在后現(xiàn)代主義理論的基礎(chǔ)上，主要借鑒伊哈布·哈桑關(guān)于后現(xiàn)代主義文學(xué)主要特征的理論，從主題、題材、語(yǔ)言和技巧等方面來(lái)分析威廉斯的詩(shī)歌所具有的兩個(gè)后現(xiàn)代特征即不確定性和內(nèi)在性，從而揭示他的后現(xiàn)代先鋒意識(shí)及其對(duì)美國(guó)詩(shī)歌的影響。通過(guò)從后現(xiàn)代主義的觀(guān)點(diǎn)分析威廉斯的詩(shī)作，我們可以發(fā)現(xiàn)他的詩(shī)歌具備了某些后現(xiàn)代主義的特征，從而確認(rèn)他是一位美國(guó)后現(xiàn)代主義詩(shī)歌先驅(qū)。
