從人物神話原型看《午夜之子》的神話敘事策略

【摘要】:印裔英語作家拉什迪的小說《午夜之子》與印度教神話互參為文,從小說的人物神話原型可一窺小說的神話敘事策略。小說主人公與印度教中的兩位主神似也不似,同時(shí)還模糊指向其它印度教神祗,從而與其神話原型形成"一與多"的模糊對(duì)應(yīng)關(guān)系,隱晦地詮釋了梵之"一與多"的內(nèi)涵,反映了小說"梵我一如"的印度宗教哲學(xué)思想。
[Abstract]:Rushdie's novel "the Child of Midnight" interacts with Hindu mythology, and the mythological strategies of the novel can be seen from the mythological prototype of the characters in the novel. The protagonist of the novel and the two main gods in Hinduism do not seem to be alike, and at the same time vaguely point to other Hindu gods, thus forming a fuzzy correspondence relationship between "one and more" with its mythological prototype, which implicitly interprets the connotation of "one and more" of the Vatican. It reflects the Indian religious philosophy thought of the novel "Brahma as I".
