【摘要】：約翰·霍克斯作為美國著名后現(xiàn)代主義先驅(qū)作家，名譽(yù)頗豐。他的創(chuàng)作就以充滿大膽、實(shí)驗(yàn)和反叛精神而著稱。1949年，霍克斯發(fā)表了他迄今為止被評論家公認(rèn)為最深刻，最成功的作品，也是以第二次世界大戰(zhàn)為背景的最優(yōu)秀的“實(shí)驗(yàn)性”小說之一——《食人者》。本文從“歷史編撰元小說”的角度解讀《食人者》，認(rèn)為其既具有元小說自我指涉的特征，又悖謬地指向了外在的歷史現(xiàn)實(shí)，而其“自指性”不僅沒有削弱、反倒增強(qiáng)了文本對社會歷史的“它指”功能。小說通過自揭虛構(gòu)等元小說技巧，在將歷史作為故事講述的過程中凸出了歷史的虛構(gòu)性和敘述性，進(jìn)而揭露了“客觀”、“真實(shí)”的歷史文本中隱藏的敘事邏輯和意識形態(tài)，揭露了歷史甚至我們生活的現(xiàn)實(shí)世界，是怎樣按照話語霸權(quán)被虛構(gòu)的。作為“歷史編撰元小說”，《食人者》不再是激進(jìn)元小說的自我指涉、自我沉醉、脫離歷史、無關(guān)現(xiàn)實(shí)，而是在自我意識的掩蓋下強(qiáng)烈地指向了社會權(quán)力話語的運(yùn)作和意識形態(tài)對話。根據(jù)這一目的，本論文將進(jìn)行如下論述： 第一部分為引言，，簡要介紹了霍克斯的生平、成就和他的主要作品，總結(jié)了國內(nèi)外對霍克斯以及《食人者》的研究現(xiàn)狀。第二部分為理論框架，主要介紹了琳達(dá)哈欽對歷史、文本和權(quán)力話語之間復(fù)雜關(guān)系的重新解碼與編碼，最后提出了“歷史編撰元小說”的理論主張。這部分還著重介紹了“歷史編撰元小說”的特征：運(yùn)用元小說的敘事策略自我指涉的同時又悖謬的指向了外部的歷史世界，是元小說與歷史編纂學(xué)的結(jié)合。第三部分和第四部分結(jié)合“歷史編撰元小說”的特征和功能對《食人者》進(jìn)行分析。第五部分是結(jié)論，重申《食人者》的“歷史編撰元小說”特征、歷史的主觀性以及隱藏在小說和歷史文本下的意識形態(tài)和權(quán)利話語關(guān)系。
[Abstract]:John Hawks is a famous American postmodernist writer with a good reputation. His works are known for their boldness, experimentation and rebelliousness. In 1949, Hawks published what critics so far consider to be the most profound and successful work. It is also one of the best "experimental" novels set in World War II. This paper interprets the Eaters from the angle of "Historical compilation of Meta-Fictions", and holds that it has the characteristics of self-referential reference in metafiction, and paradoxically points to the external historical reality, and its "self-pointing" is not only not weakened, but also has not been weakened. Instead, it strengthens the text's function of referring to social history. The novel reveals the fictional and narrative nature of history in the process of telling history as a story, and then exposes the narrative logic and ideology hidden in the historical texts of "objectivity" and "truth". It reveals how history and even the real world in which we live are fabricated according to discourse hegemony. As a "historical compilation of metafiction", the cannibalism is no longer the self-reference of radical metafiction, self-intoxicating, divorced from history, irrelevant to reality. But under the cover of self-consciousness, it strongly points to the operation of social power discourse and ideological dialogue. According to this purpose, this thesis will be discussed as follows: the first part is the introduction, briefly introduces Hawkes' life, achievements and his main works, and summarizes the current research situation of Hawks and the cannibals at home and abroad. The second part is the theoretical framework, which mainly introduces Lindahachin's redecoding and encoding of the complex relationship between history, text and power discourse, and finally puts forward the theoretical proposition of "Historical compilation Metafiction". This part also focuses on the features of "Historical compilation of Metafiction": the use of the narrative strategy of meta-fiction refers to the external historical world at the same time, which is the combination of metafiction and historical compilation. The third part and the fourth part analyze the cannibalism by combining the features and functions of Historical compilation Metafiction. The fifth part is the conclusion, which restates the feature of historical compilation metafiction, the subjectivity of history and the relationship between ideology and right discourse hidden in the novel and historical text.
