【摘要】：正當(dāng)代英國女作家瑪格麗特·德拉布爾(Margaret Drabble,1939—)在長篇小說方面所取得的成功長期遮蔽了其短篇的造詣。2011年5月,西班牙學(xué)者弗蘭德茲(Jose Francisco Fernandez)將其發(fā)表于1964至2000年間的短篇小說集結(jié)成冊,取名為《一個(gè)微笑女人生活的一天:短篇小說全集》(A Day in the Life of a Smiling Woman:Comple teShort Stories),由霍頓·米夫林·哈考特出版社出版。該《全集》只有十四個(gè)短篇,小說集中的大部分短篇一版再版。該短篇小說集一經(jīng)出版,即贏得好評如潮�！都~約時(shí)報(bào)書評》評論道:"這些短篇與她的長篇小說一樣,熱情奔放,富有反諷意味、道德關(guān)注以及深刻的思想內(nèi)涵。"美國著名作家喬伊斯·卡羅·奧茨也在《紐約客》上撰文贊譽(yù)道:"德拉布爾是她
[Abstract]:The success of contemporary British woman writer Margaret Drabble,1939- in her novels has long obscured her short accomplishments. In May 2011, (Jose Francisco Fernandez), a Spanish scholar, has assembled his short stories, published between 1964 and 2000, under the name "A Day of Life for a smiling woman: a complete Collection of short stories." (A Day in the Life of a Smiling Woman:Comple teShort Stories),. Published by Horton Mifflin Harcourt Press. There are only fourteen short stories in the complete works, and most of the short stories in the collection are reprinted in one edition. The collection of short stories won a lot of acclaim as soon as it was published. The New York Times Book Review commented: "these short stories, like her novels, are passionate, ironic, moral, and deeply ideological." Joyce Carlo Oates, a famous American writer, also wrote in the New Yorker, saying, "Drabble is her."
