【摘要】：瑪麗·雪萊（1797-1851）與赫伯特·喬治·威爾斯（1866-1946）盡管是相隔一個(gè)世紀(jì)的英國(guó)作家，，卻在他們的巨作《弗蘭肯斯坦》和《摩羅博士的島》中似乎心神相通。兩位作家均采用“瘋狂科學(xué)家”的科幻主題，探討科學(xué)家妄圖造人，肆意干預(yù)自然法則產(chǎn)生的后果。兩部作品中，瘋狂科學(xué)家維克多·弗蘭肯斯坦和摩羅博士僭越上帝成為造物者，違背自然規(guī)律，也踐踏了人類社會(huì)的倫理道德。結(jié)局自然是被他們創(chuàng)造的怪物或獸人毀滅。除驚人一致的主題之外，兩部小說(shuō)對(duì)瘋狂科學(xué)家的形象塑造和生育主題的表現(xiàn)也十分相似�！陡ヌm肯斯坦》是雪萊創(chuàng)造的經(jīng)典哥特小說(shuō)，而《摩羅博士的島》是威爾斯科學(xué)傳奇的代表。本文將以文本細(xì)讀為基礎(chǔ)，同時(shí)挖掘兩部作品的意義。當(dāng)下，科學(xué)技術(shù)以史無(wú)前例的速度迅猛發(fā)展，但是，技術(shù)手段的濫用、誤用仍然存在。本文的討論將展現(xiàn)雪萊與威爾斯末世預(yù)言般的構(gòu)思，以作警示與反思。 論文共分為五個(gè)部分。引言概述小說(shuō)及作者創(chuàng)作背景，評(píng)述已有的相關(guān)研究成果，引入本文的研究?jī)?nèi)容。論文主體共三部分解析“瘋狂科學(xué)家”主題。第一章探討作品中兩位瘋狂科學(xué)家與自然、倫理和宗教三方面的關(guān)系，挖掘《弗蘭肯斯坦》和《摩羅博士的島》本質(zhì)的相似意義。第二章評(píng)析雪萊和威爾斯嫻熟的藝術(shù)手法，尤其象征與隱喻，發(fā)掘鮮明科幻形象的塑造成因。第三章以前面的闡釋為基礎(chǔ)，聯(lián)系時(shí)代、文學(xué)和作家經(jīng)歷等因素，揭開(kāi)瘋狂科學(xué)家的生育神話誕生起源，以及對(duì)科幻小說(shuō)重大的文學(xué)價(jià)值和現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。最后一章得出結(jié)論，《弗蘭肯斯坦》和《摩羅博士的島》的主題研究為解讀兩部作品提供更廣闊的空間。在當(dāng)今時(shí)代背景下，兩部作品依然對(duì)科學(xué)、生態(tài)、人性和道德具有深遠(yuǎn)影響。由此，瑪麗·雪萊與威爾斯借助兩位瘋狂的科學(xué)家最終實(shí)現(xiàn)了“對(duì)話”。
[Abstract]:Mary Shelley (1797-1851) and Herbert George Wells (1866-1946), despite being British writers a century apart, seemed to be in touch with each other in their masterpieces, "Franken Stein" and "the Island of Dr. Moro." Using the science fiction theme of "Crazy Scientist," both writers discuss the consequences of scientists' attempts to create human beings and interfere with the laws of nature. In the two works, mad scientists Victor Franken Stein and Dr Morro overstep God as creators, violate the laws of nature, and trample on the ethics of human society. The end result is naturally destroyed by their creation of monsters or orcs. In addition to the surprisingly consistent themes, the two novels are very similar to the image of mad scientists and the performance of fertility themes. [Franken Stan] is a classic Gothic novel by Shelley. Dr Morro's Island is the representative of the scientific legend of Wales. This article will be based on the text reading, and excavate the significance of the two works at the same time. At present, science and technology is developing at an unprecedented speed. However, the misuse and misuse of technological means still exist. The discussion in this paper will show Shelley and Wells'apocalyptic ideas for warning and reflection. The thesis is divided into five parts. The introduction summarizes the novel and the author's writing background, reviews the related research achievements, and introduces the research contents of this paper. The main body of the paper is composed of three parts to analyze the theme of "Crazy Scientist". The first chapter discusses the relationship between the two crazy scientists and nature, ethics and religion, and explores the similar meanings of the essence of "Franken Stan" and "the Island of Dr. Moro". The second chapter analyzes Shelley and Wells' skillful artistic techniques, especially symbols and metaphors, and explores the causes of shaping the vivid sci-fi images. The third chapter is based on the previous explanation, connecting with the times, literature and writer's experience, to uncover the birth origin of the birth myth of crazy scientists, as well as the great literary value and practical significance to the science fiction. The final chapter concludes that the thematic studies of Franken Stein and Dr Morro Island provide a broader space for interpretation of the two works. In the context of the present era, the two works still have profound influence on science, ecology, human nature and morality. As a result, Mary Shelley and Wells finally achieved a dialogue with two crazy scientists.
