《青草在歌唱》的敘述文體學(xué)分析

【摘要】:多麗絲·萊辛是英國杰出女作家。她于2007年獲得諾貝爾文學(xué)獎。萊辛的第一部小說《青草在歌唱》自出版以來引起了世人的廣泛關(guān)注,同時為萊辛贏得聲譽。該小說講述了三十年代在南部非洲殖民地上一位白人婦女的悲劇人生和土著人的反抗。很多學(xué)者從種族,性別,情愛,社會等方面來分析女主人公瑪麗悲劇形成的原因。本文嘗試運用敘述文體學(xué)方法對《野草在歌唱》這部小說進行綜合分析,從而對人物的悲劇和土著人的反抗有著更深刻的理解,發(fā)現(xiàn)該作品形式和主題的相互關(guān)系,挖掘作品的美學(xué)效果與藝術(shù)價值。 本文共有七個部分。引言部分簡要介紹作家萊辛、《青草在歌唱》的研究現(xiàn)狀、本文的寫作意義以及研究方法。第二章主要介紹敘述文體學(xué)的四個方面,即人物的刻畫、場景、空間形式及視角。 第三章就瑪麗和摩西兩位人物進行了探討。著重分析瑪麗的聲音和習(xí)慣性動作“哭泣”及摩西的外表和命名方式。瑪麗的聲音在不同的生活階段發(fā)生相應(yīng)的變化。摩西的高大形象和無畏的眼神及摩西的命名,一方面說明小說作者對摩西的贊賞,另一方面也反映出白人對黑人的畏懼。 第四章從房子、農(nóng)場、灌木叢等場景的主題意義和對人物的影響進行分析。房子的結(jié)構(gòu)和建設(shè)材料一方面說明了黑人與白人之間的區(qū)別及白人的優(yōu)越性,同時也是使瑪麗處于困境當(dāng)中的原因之一。農(nóng)場的地理位置的封閉性使瑪麗與其他人群發(fā)生隔離和疏遠。象征著土著人的灌木叢讓瑪麗心神不寧。 第五章探討了小說中兩種空間形式:圓圈結(jié)構(gòu)和漩渦結(jié)構(gòu)�,旣愔貜�(fù)她父母的婚姻生活形成了圓圈結(jié)構(gòu),同時瑪麗生活由農(nóng)村到小鎮(zhèn)再到農(nóng)村形成了一種圓圈結(jié)構(gòu)形式。而漩渦結(jié)構(gòu)最主要表現(xiàn)是瑪麗的瘋癲和死亡成為瑪麗生活的中心。盡管她試圖逃離這種無形的力量,最終還是走向死亡。 第六章闡述人物內(nèi)視角轉(zhuǎn)換,就白人視角下的摩西進行分析。摩西在白人眼里顯得高大,無畏。但是摩西的內(nèi)心世界卻無法被白人洞悉,同時白人從未關(guān)注過他的五官除了他的眼神。這說明白人與土著人之間不可逾越的鴻溝。 結(jié)論部分簡要概括了敘述敘述文體學(xué),總結(jié)了論文的論點,并指出敘述文體學(xué)不僅可以對主題有著更深刻的理解而且還可以挖掘萊辛的寫作藝術(shù)。
[Abstract]:Doris Lessing is an outstanding British woman writer. She won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2007. Lessing's first novel, Green Grass singing, has attracted worldwide attention since its publication and earned Lessing a reputation. The novel tells the tragic life of a white woman in a Southern African colony in the 1930 s and the revolt of the indigenous people. Many scholars analyze the causes of the heroine Mary's tragedy from the aspects of race, sex, love and society. This paper attempts to make a comprehensive analysis of the novel "Wild Grass singing" by means of narrative stylistics, so as to have a deeper understanding of the tragedy of the characters and the resistance of the indigenous people, and to find out the interrelationship between the form and the theme of the novel. Excavate the aesthetic effect and artistic value of the works. There are seven parts in this paper. The introduction briefly introduces the writer Lessing, the present situation of the study of grass in singing, the writing significance and research methods of this paper. The second chapter mainly introduces the four aspects of narrative stylistics, namely the characterization of characters, scene, spatial form and perspective. The third chapter discusses the two characters of Mary and Moses. Emphasis is placed on Mary's voice and habitual movements, crying, and Moses' appearance and nomenclature. Mary's voice changed at different stages of her life. The tall figure and fearless eyes of Moses and the name of Moses, on the one hand, show the author's admiration for Moses, on the other hand, the white people's fear of black people. The fourth chapter analyzes the theme meaning of house, farm, bush and so on. The structure and construction materials of the house not only illustrate the difference between black and white superiority, but also one of the reasons why Mary is in trouble. The closeness of the farm kept Mary isolated and alienated from the rest of the population. The thickets, which symbolize the aborigines, upset Mary. Chapter five discusses two kinds of spatial forms in the novel: circle structure and whirlpool structure. Mary repeated her parents' marriage and formed a circle structure, while Mary's life from the countryside to the small town to the countryside formed a form of circle structure. And the vortex structure is the main manifestation of Mary's madness and death become the center of Mary's life. Although she tried to escape this invisible force, she eventually went to death. In chapter 6, the author analyzes Moses from the white perspective. Moses looked tall and fearless in the eyes of the white man. But Moses's inner world was invisible to whites, who never looked at his features except his eyes. This explains the insuperable gulf between man and the aborigines. The conclusion summarizes the narrative stylistics, summarizes the arguments of the thesis, and points out that narrative stylistics can not only have a deeper understanding of the subject, but also dig into Lessing's writing art.
