【摘要】：大衛(wèi)·赫伯特·勞倫斯(1885-1930)一直是國內(nèi)外文學(xué)界頗具爭議的人物,爭議的來源主要是他作品中關(guān)于性的直白描寫。許多學(xué)者和評論家都對勞倫斯及其作品進(jìn)行了研究,他們主要關(guān)注勞倫斯對兩性關(guān)系的探索及其作品中人物的非理性心理,也有一些學(xué)者和研究者將注意力集中在對勞倫斯作品的語言和語境的研究,而另外一些學(xué)者則努力探索勞倫斯作品中意象的運(yùn)用和藝術(shù)特色等。關(guān)于勞倫斯對女性主義和基督教文化的看法,評論家們一直沒有達(dá)成一致意見。但是沒有人會否認(rèn)這樣一個事實,正如在他的其他小說中一樣,勞倫斯在他的代表作《戀愛中的女人》中花了很多筆墨描述性、性行為及兩性關(guān)系。勞倫斯本人也堅稱,他所關(guān)注的只是兩性關(guān)系(尤其是婚姻中的兩性關(guān)系)的探索。在對這部作品的研究中,本文作者發(fā)現(xiàn)小說中的兩性關(guān)系極大地受制于人物所處的體制,使得男女雙方難以達(dá)成和諧的兩性關(guān)系。因此,本文將著重從性別批評的視角來分析該作品中所反映出的體制化的兩性關(guān)系,指出作品中某些人物試圖超越體制化兩性關(guān)系的努力,并揭示出這種超越的深遠(yuǎn)意義。 本論文共五章。第一章簡要介紹勞倫斯及其作品《戀愛中的女人》,概述國內(nèi)外勞倫斯及其作品研究的現(xiàn)狀,特別是有關(guān)《戀愛中的女人》研究,說明本論文研究的目的和論文的結(jié)構(gòu)。該章還重點(diǎn)解釋了“性別”、“體制”和“體制化的性別”等術(shù)語。在第二章中,本文作者詳細(xì)分析了小說中主要人物所擔(dān)任的體制化了的社會和家庭角色,以及他們體制化了的價值觀、思維方式和兩性關(guān)系。第三章以小說中伯金和厄秀拉之間的和諧兩性關(guān)系為例證,指出小說所蘊(yùn)含思想：要想把自己從資本主義制度和死板的宗教條例的桎梏中解放出來,人們應(yīng)該從體制化的性別中超脫出來尋找自然的性愛。接著,第四章討論了對超越體制化性別的意義。杰拉德和戈珍失敗的戀愛關(guān)系與伯金和厄秀拉的成功共同表明兩性平等的重要性,這種對平等的訴求也是人類社會各種關(guān)系的需要。此外,小說對自然的性的提倡也是對宗教傳統(tǒng)及維多利亞時代道德觀中一些過時觀念的反抗。更重要的是,小說所強(qiáng)調(diào)的自然的性包括“肉欲”這一重要因素,良好的兩性關(guān)系可以通過肉欲的滿足而實現(xiàn),繼而實現(xiàn)全人類的重生。結(jié)論部分總結(jié)了全文的內(nèi)容,重申了論文的主要觀點(diǎn),再次強(qiáng)調(diào)為了建立平衡的、和諧的兩性關(guān)系,男人和女人應(yīng)該尋求自然的愛和性,同時還需要相互理解、相互依賴、相互尊重。
[Abstract]:David Herbert Lawrence (1885-1930) has been a controversial figure in literary circles both at home and abroad. The source of controversy is the explicit description of sex in his works. Many scholars and critics have studied Lawrence and his works. They mainly pay attention to Lawrence's exploration of the relationship between the sexes and the irrational psychology of the characters in his works. Some scholars and researchers focus their attention on the language and context of Lawrence's works, while others try to explore the use of images and artistic features in Lawrence's works. Critics have been unable to agree on Lawrence's views on feminism and Christian culture. But no one can deny the fact that, as in his other novels, Lawrence has written a lot about sex, and relationships in his masterpiece, Women in Love. Lawrence himself insists that all he is concerned with is the exploration of relationships, especially in marriage. In the study of this work, the author finds that the relationship between men and women in the novel is greatly controlled by the system in which people live, which makes it difficult for men and women to reach a harmonious relationship between men and women. Therefore, this paper will focus on the analysis of the institutionalized gender relations reflected in the works from the perspective of gender criticism, pointing out that some characters in the works try to transcend the institutional gender relations, and reveal the far-reaching significance of this transcendence. There are five chapters in this paper. The first chapter briefly introduces Lawrence and his works "Women in Love", summarizes the current situation of Lawrence and his works at home and abroad, especially the study of "Women in Love", and explains the purpose and structure of this paper. The chapter also focuses on the terms "gender", "institutional" and "institutionalized gender". In the second chapter, the author analyzes in detail the institutionalized social and family roles played by the main characters in the novel, as well as their institutionalized values, ways of thinking and gender relations. The third chapter takes the harmonious relationship between Birkin and Ursula in the novel as an example, and points out that the idea contained in the novel is to liberate itself from the shackles of capitalist system and rigid religious regulations. One should look beyond the institutionalized gender for natural sex. Then, the fourth chapter discusses the significance of transcending institutionalized gender. Gerrard and Gerald's failed love relationship and the success of Birkin and Ursula show the importance of gender equality, which is also the need of various relationships in human society. In addition, the promotion of nature in the novel is a revolt against religious traditions and some outdated ideas of Victorian morality. More importantly, the natural sex emphasized in the novel includes the important factor of "carnal desire", and the good sexual relationship can be realized through the satisfaction of carnal desire, and then realize the rebirth of mankind as a whole. The conclusion summarizes the content of the paper, restates the main points of the paper, and emphasizes once again that in order to establish a balanced and harmonious relationship between the sexes, men and women should seek natural love and sex, at the same time, they need to understand each other and rely on each other.
