【摘要】：愛倫·坡是美國(guó)文學(xué)史上系統(tǒng)闡述出哥特式小說理論的第一人。其小說的故事情節(jié)、人物塑造與行文風(fēng)格都直接繼承了傳統(tǒng)哥特式小說，即以古堡、荒原、廢墟等環(huán)境為背景，氣氛陰森、神秘，常常充斥著暴力、復(fù)仇和死亡的情節(jié)。在這一方面，愛倫坡對(duì)傳統(tǒng)的借鑒使得其小說在審美特征、接受效果與對(duì)主流文學(xué)所強(qiáng)調(diào)的秩序與規(guī)范的顛覆上和傳統(tǒng)哥特式小說極為相似。 在繼承的同時(shí)，愛倫·坡也對(duì)哥特式小說進(jìn)行了創(chuàng)造性發(fā)展。在吸收哥特式小說元素的基礎(chǔ)上，他創(chuàng)造了偵探小說、美國(guó)科幻小說等新文學(xué)體裁。并且在其作品中運(yùn)用到多個(gè)興起于20世紀(jì)初期的現(xiàn)代主義文學(xué)常用主題，如人格分裂、人性的惡與父子沖突等；也多次運(yùn)用了第一人稱敘事、內(nèi)心獨(dú)白等現(xiàn)代主義慣用的寫作手法。愛倫·坡通過更改哥特式小說的審美特征與藝術(shù)內(nèi)涵，使得這種長(zhǎng)久以來被邊緣化、得不到應(yīng)有重視的文學(xué)體裁重新得到眾人矚目。在對(duì)科學(xué)力量的反思、對(duì)工業(yè)文明造成人類內(nèi)心邪惡的刻畫方面，愛倫·坡遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超越了其同一時(shí)代的作家。 本文將從兩個(gè)方面：愛倫坡對(duì)傳統(tǒng)哥特式小說的繼承與發(fā)展進(jìn)行分析。通過題材的選擇、場(chǎng)景與氣氛的構(gòu)建和情節(jié)特征的討論愛倫·坡對(duì)傳統(tǒng)的繼承發(fā)揚(yáng)，從發(fā)自內(nèi)心的恐懼刻畫、愛倫·坡作品中現(xiàn)代主義元素的體現(xiàn)與新文學(xué)體裁的開創(chuàng)三個(gè)方面，論述坡對(duì)傳統(tǒng)哥特式小說的開創(chuàng)性發(fā)展。作者通過對(duì)愛倫·坡小說與哥特式小說關(guān)系的梳理，將其作品納入整個(gè)文學(xué)體系中而非孤立地研究，最終對(duì)愛倫·坡的美學(xué)思想、獨(dú)特貢獻(xiàn)與其在文學(xué)史上的地位有一個(gè)更新、更全面的了解。
[Abstract]:Allan Poe is the first person to systematically expound Gothic novel theory in the history of American literature. The story plot, character shaping and writing style of his novels all inherit the traditional Gothic novels directly, that is, taking the ancient castle, wasteland, ruins and other environments as the background, the atmosphere is gloomy, mysterious, often full of violence, revenge and death plot. In this respect, Allan Poe's reference to the tradition makes his novels very similar to the traditional Gothic novels in aesthetic characteristics, acceptance effects and the subversion of order and norms emphasized by mainstream literature. While inheriting, Allan Poe also creatively developed Gothic novels. On the basis of absorbing the elements of Gothic novels, he created new literary genres such as detective novels and American sci-fi novels. And in his works, he has applied many common themes of modernist literature rising in the early 20th century, such as personality split, the evil of human nature and the conflict between father and son, and has also used first-person narration many times. By changing the aesthetic features and artistic connotations of Gothic novels, Allan Poe's literary genre, which has long been marginalized and has not received due attention, has gained attention again. In reflecting on the power of science and portraying the evil of human beings caused by industrial civilization, Allan Poe transcended the writers of his time. This paper analyzes the inheritance and development of traditional Gothic novels from two aspects: Allan Poe. Through the choice of theme, the construction of scene and atmosphere and the discussion of plot characteristics, Allan Poe's inheritance and development of tradition, from the bottom of the heart of the portrayal of fear, This paper discusses Poe's pioneering development of traditional Gothic novels from three aspects: the embodiment of modernist elements in Allan Poe's works and the creation of new literary genre. By combing the relationship between Allan Poe's novels and Gothic novels, the author brings his works into the whole literary system instead of studying them in isolation. Finally, the author has an update to Allan Poe's aesthetic thought, his unique contribution and his position in the history of literature. A more comprehensive understanding.
