【摘要】：約翰·福爾斯是世界文壇享有盛名的英國作家。他的一生著作頗多,其中最有名的是《法國中尉的女人》這部長篇小說。對于這部小說,之前的許多批評家們都是使用女性主義、存在主義以及歷史角度來解析,運用敘事學理論來解析的評論并不多。敘事學是二十世紀六十年代新興的一個文藝批評理論,這個新興的文學批評理論代表著當代小說理論發(fā)展的新方向。本篇論文就是運用敘事學的理論來分析該作品的敘事節(jié)奏和敘事情境,目的在于用一種更新的眼光來欣賞這部作品的藝術魅力。 該論文分為四個部分,第一章介紹了約翰·福爾斯的生平以及文學成就,重點介紹了敘事學出現(xiàn)和發(fā)展。第二章是運用經(jīng)典敘事學中的時距理論和巴赫金所提出的復調理論來研究該作品的節(jié)奏。該小說不僅在時間上形成了一動一靜的節(jié)奏,而且在空間上相互交替。第三章研究該小說的敘事情境。敘事人稱,敘事聚焦和敘事方式是敘事情境最重要的三個方面�！斗▏形镜呐恕肥褂玫氖堑谌偷谝蝗朔Q的作者敘事情境。聚焦方式主要使用的是內聚焦。敘事方式上福爾斯主要采用展示的方式,盡量少使用講述的方式。 最后一章對該論文進行了總結。該論文以敘事學中最重要的時距,復調和敘事情境理論來研究該小說。從以上分析可以看出,故事在有張有弛地前進,讀者跟隨男主人公一步一步走進女主人公的內心世界,正是由于以上敘事技巧的成功運用,讀者才能深刻理解男女主人公內心世界的矛盾,了解他們對于固有觀念的堅持以及對自由的追求。這樣的敘事技巧使得故事具有吸引力,人物的刻畫也入木三分,從而有利于主題的升華。約翰·福爾斯不愧是當代文學的巨匠。
[Abstract]:John Fowles is a famous English writer in the world. His life was full of books, the most famous of which was the novel the French Lieutenant's woman. For this novel, many critics used feminism, existentialism and historical perspective to analyze the novel, and few critics used narratology to analyze it. Narratology is a new theory of literary criticism in the 1960s, which represents a new direction of the development of contemporary novel theory. The purpose of this thesis is to use narratology theory to analyze the narrative rhythm and narrative situation of the work, in order to appreciate the artistic charm of the work with a new vision. The first chapter introduces John Fowles' life and literary achievements, focusing on the emergence and development of narratology. The second chapter studies the rhythm of this work by using the time distance theory of classical narratology and the polyphonic theory put forward by Bakhtin. The novel not only forms a static rhythm in time, but also alternates in space. The third chapter studies the narrative situation of the novel. Narrative person, narrative focus and narrative mode are the three most important aspects of narrative situation. The focus mode is mainly internal focusing. In the narrative mode, Fowles mainly uses the way of display and the way of narration as little as possible. The last chapter summarizes the thesis. This thesis studies the novel with the most important theories of time interval, polyphony and narrative situation in narratology. From the above analysis, we can see that the story is moving forward with relaxation, the reader follows the hero step by step into the heroine's inner world, precisely because of the successful use of the above narrative techniques. The reader can deeply understand the contradiction of the inner world of the hero and heroine, and understand their adherence to the inherent idea and the pursuit of freedom. This kind of narrative technique makes the story attractive and the characters depict, which is favorable to the sublimation of the theme. John Fowles is a great master of contemporary literature.
