【摘要】："9·11"事件后菲利普·羅斯更為關(guān)注美國(guó)國(guó)內(nèi)現(xiàn)實(shí),他在小說的創(chuàng)作中嘗試從美國(guó)歷史中探尋悲劇的根源,在半個(gè)世紀(jì)后重新審視朝鮮戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)時(shí)期美國(guó)的社會(huì)矛盾和問題以及對(duì)年輕人的影響。羅斯以普通猶太青年和家庭的遭遇揭示了在麥卡錫主義的壓制下"沉默一代"的出現(xiàn)并指出其悲慘結(jié)局是歷史的必然。他重建歷史的創(chuàng)作旨在說明,當(dāng)代人的沉默同樣助長(zhǎng)統(tǒng)治集團(tuán)對(duì)內(nèi)的壓制和對(duì)外的干涉,為避免歷史悲劇的重演必須發(fā)出自己的聲音。
[Abstract]:After the 9 / 11 incident, Philip Ross paid more attention to the domestic reality of the United States. In his novel creation, he tried to find out the root of the tragedy from the history of the United States.Half a century later, American social contradictions and problems and their influence on young people during the Korean War were re-examined.Ross reveals the emergence of the "Silent Generation" under the suppression of McCarthyism and points out that its tragic outcome is a historical necessity.His work on reconstructing history is designed to show that the silence of the present generation also encourages the repression and interference of the ruling group at home and abroad, and that in order to avoid the recurrence of historical tragedies, his own voice must be heard.
