空間批評解讀《達羅衛(wèi)夫人》中克拉麗莎的主體性缺失

【摘要】:弗吉尼亞·伍爾夫(Virginia Woolf,1882-1941)是英國現(xiàn)代主義時期重要的意識流小說家、散文家、評論家。本文主要以其意識流代表作《達羅衛(wèi)夫人》為研究對象,從空間的角度切入,運用空間批評理論對文本進行較深入細致的挖掘和探討,力圖闡釋文本中空間與主體性的相互關系。 本論文分為六個部分。 引論部分綜述弗吉尼亞·伍爾夫和其代表作品《達羅衛(wèi)夫人》,當今國內(nèi)外對弗吉尼亞·伍爾夫和她的作品的研究現(xiàn)狀;與此同時,明確本論文的出發(fā)點及其研究價值,提出本論文研究的創(chuàng)新性。 第一章引入空間的概念,重點介紹了亨利·列斐伏爾、米歇爾·福柯、邁克爾·克朗的空間理論以及主體性概念。其中亨利·列斐伏爾認為空間是產(chǎn)品,結(jié)合了主體的行動。所有的主體都處在空間之中,是他們改造的空間。只有在空間之中,個人才得以獲得或者失去他的主體性。通過闡釋人與空間的關系,可以更好地理解個人的價值主體性問題。 第二章解析了《達羅衛(wèi)夫人》中所描繪的兩個重要的景觀空間的抽象意義和隱喻—伯頓和倫敦,從而得出由于空間位置的改變,克拉麗莎的主體性也步步走向缺失。 第三章挖掘了《達羅衛(wèi)夫人》的社會空間,運用了文化地理學、空間權(quán)利的相關理論來闡釋人與人之間的關系同樣也是空間建構(gòu)的一種方式。伯頓和倫敦并不僅僅是景觀空間,它們所承載的各種社會關系以及人們之間的價值觀念和道德取向恰恰是社會空間所研究的對象。本章通過分析“宴會”這個典型的社會空間里一種思想與另一種思想的交鋒,一個群體對另一個群體的壓迫,以及“家”這個社會空間里的不和諧因素,來揭示克拉麗莎主體性的缺失問題。 第四章探討了《達羅衛(wèi)夫人》中的個體空間。個體空間不僅僅包括屬于克拉麗莎私人空間的斗室,心理空間也是不容忽視的一個非常重要的個體空間。通過挖掘斗室與外部世界之間的權(quán)利所滲透的不可協(xié)調(diào)的矛盾以及克拉麗莎矛盾的心理空間,來展現(xiàn)她的主體性缺失。 最后的結(jié)論部分總結(jié)了運用空間批評解讀《達羅衛(wèi)夫人》的意義,并且表明了空間的各個元素之間需要相互作用和相互交融才能更為和諧的運轉(zhuǎn),社會的發(fā)展需要一個和諧的空間,人與人需要通過不斷的溝通和交流,相互理解,才能更好的相處。
[Abstract]:Virginia Woolfman is an important stream of consciousness novelist, essayist and critic in modernism in England.This article mainly takes her masterpiece of Stream of consciousness, Mrs. Darowei, as the object of study, from the angle of space, and applies the theory of space criticism to excavate and discuss the text deeply and meticulously.Try to explain the relationship between space and subjectivity in the text.This paper is divided into six parts.The introduction summarizes Virginia Woolf and her representative works, Mrs. Dalloway, and the current research situation of Virginia Woolf and her works both at home and abroad. At the same time, it clarifies the starting point and the research value of this thesis.The innovation of this paper is put forward.The first chapter introduces the concept of space, focusing on the introduction of Henry Lefeivoll, Michelle Foucault, Michael Crona and the concept of subjectivity.Among them, Henry Lefevere thinks that space is a product, combining the action of the subject.All the subjects are in space, the space they transform.Only in space can an individual acquire or lose his subjectivity.By explaining the relationship between human and space, we can better understand the value subjectivity of individuals.The second chapter analyzes the abstract meanings and metaphors of the two important landscape spaces, Burton and London, which are described in Lady Darowitz, and concludes that because of the change of the spatial position, Clarissa's subjectivity is gradually missing.The third chapter excavates the social space of Madame Dalloway and uses the theory of cultural geography and spatial rights to explain the relationship between people and it is also a way to construct space.Burton and London are not only landscape space, but also the research object of social space, such as the social relations they carry and the values and moral orientation between people.This chapter analyzes the confrontation between one thought and another thought in the typical social space of "banquet", the oppression of another group by one group, and the disharmony factor of "home" in the social space.To reveal the lack of Clarissa's subjectivity.The fourth chapter discusses the individual space in Madame Darowei.The individual space not only includes the bucket room which belongs to Clarissa's private space, but also the psychological space is a very important individual space which can not be ignored.By exploring the incongruous contradiction between the right between the chamber and the outside world and the psychological space of Clarissa's contradiction, this paper shows her lack of subjectivity.The last part of the conclusion summarizes the use of space criticism to interpret the meaning of "Mrs. Darowitz", and shows that the various elements of space need to interact and blend in order to operate more harmoniously.The development of society needs a harmonious space, and people need to communicate with each other through constant communication and mutual understanding, in order to get along better.
