【摘要】：在當(dāng)今社會倡導(dǎo)多元文化的背景下，一批美國華裔作家憑借獨(dú)特的敘事視角、帶有異域風(fēng)情的故事情節(jié)和豐富的文化意象為當(dāng)代美國文壇注入了鮮活的力量，，使得反映“邊緣文化”的美國華裔文學(xué)取得了長足的發(fā)展，同時(shí)也豐富了美國文學(xué)的內(nèi)涵。譚恩美正是這批新生代美國華裔作家之一，她是繼湯亭亭之后的又一位頗具影響力的美國華裔女作家。譚恩美小說的成功之處在于她以自己、母親及祖母的親身經(jīng)歷為依托，從文化背景和社會價(jià)值觀等角度對移民社會中的母女關(guān)系進(jìn)行觀察、分析和描述，將中國傳統(tǒng)文化與美國文化融為一體，深受不同族裔和不同文化背景的讀者的青睞。中國移民母親與在美國出生的女兒間的微妙關(guān)系一直是譚恩美小說的主要關(guān)注點(diǎn)，母女沖突是譚恩美前四部小說共有的主題。 譚恩美的前兩部作品《喜福會》與《灶神之妻》都是以中國移民母親與在美國出生的女兒兩代人之間的心理隔閡、感情沖撞，以及在文化認(rèn)同和社會認(rèn)同等方面的角色沖突、情感沖突到最終理解融合的微妙關(guān)系為主線展開的，但有所不同。本文選擇這兩部作品進(jìn)行研究，試圖在對這兩部作品進(jìn)行文本細(xì)讀的基礎(chǔ)上，以女性主義批評理論及方法為指導(dǎo)對譚恩美的前兩部作品《喜福會》和《灶神之妻》中的母女關(guān)系這一主題進(jìn)行研究，發(fā)掘兩部作品中解決母女沖突的方法。由美國華裔女作家所寫的關(guān)于美國華裔女性的故事向我們闡釋了美國少數(shù)族裔女性在日常生活中——無論是在父權(quán)社會、還是在以白人為主流的美國社會以及她們彼此的關(guān)系中所面臨的沖突、誤解、隔閡,以及到最終的融合過程。
[Abstract]:Under the background of advocating multiculturalism in today's society, a group of Chinese-American writers, with their unique narrative perspective, exotic storylines and rich cultural images, have injected fresh strength into the contemporary American literary world. Chinese American literature, which reflects "marginal culture", has made great progress and enriched the connotation of American literature. Amy Tan is one of the new generation of Chinese American writers. She is another influential Chinese-American woman writer after Maxine Hong Kingston. The success of Amy Tan's novels depends on her own experience, her mother and her grandmother. From the perspective of cultural background and social values, the relationship between mother and daughter in immigrant society is observed, analyzed and described, which combines Chinese traditional culture with American culture. The subtle relationship between Chinese immigrant mothers and their American-born daughters has always been the main concern of Amy Tan's novels, and the conflict between mother and daughter is the common theme of her first four novels. Tan En-mei 's first two works, "Joy Luck Club" and "Kitchen God's wife", are based on the psychological gap between Chinese immigrant mothers and their American-born daughters, emotional conflicts, and role conflicts in cultural and social identity. The subtle relationship between emotional conflict and final understanding is the main line, but it is different. This paper chooses the two works to study, trying to read the two works carefully. Under the guidance of feminist criticism theory and method, this paper studies the relationship between mother and daughter in Amy Tan's first two works, Joy Luck Club and Kitchen God's wife. Explore the ways to resolve mother-daughter conflicts in two works. The story about Chinese-American women written by Chinese-American writers explains how minority women in the United States live their daily lives, whether in a patriarchal society. Or the conflicts, misunderstandings, estrangement, and eventual integration of white American society and their relationship with each other.
