【摘要】：弗·司各特·菲茨杰拉德在美國(guó)是被公認(rèn)為與海明威和�？思{相齊名的偉大作家,但是在我國(guó)對(duì)他的研究遠(yuǎn)不及對(duì)后兩者的研究來(lái)的深入和全面。因此,本論文借助于原型批評(píng)理論來(lái)分析菲茨杰拉德長(zhǎng)篇小說(shuō)中的圣經(jīng)原型,主要是分析里面的圣經(jīng)主題和圣經(jīng)人物的原型,并得出如下的結(jié)論：菲茨杰拉德利用自己豐厚的基督教知識(shí),在他的作品中通過(guò)對(duì)圣經(jīng)原型進(jìn)行置換和變形,表達(dá)了他對(duì)亞當(dāng)式人物的喜愛(ài)和贊美,對(duì)撒旦式人物的否定和批判,對(duì)夏娃式人物的迷戀和不信任,從而使讀者對(duì)20世紀(jì)20年代美國(guó)社會(huì)精神的荒蕪和道德的墮落有了更清晰的認(rèn)識(shí),也使他自己的“美國(guó)夢(mèng)”主題具有了超越其他作家相同主題的深刻性和獨(dú)特性。同時(shí),原型的應(yīng)用使菲茨杰拉德的作品超越了具體的美國(guó)社會(huì),成為具有永恒藝術(shù)魅力的偉大作品。
[Abstract]:Fred Fitzgerald is recognized in the United States as a great writer of the same name as Hemingway and Faulkner, but the study of him in our country is far less thorough and comprehensive than that of the latter two. This thesis analyzes the biblical archetypes in Fitzgerald's novels by means of archetypal criticism theory, which mainly analyzes the biblical themes and the biblical characters' archetypes. And draw the following conclusion: Fitzgerald, using his rich knowledge of Christianity, expressed his love and praise for Adam characters by replacing and transforming the archetypes of the Bible in his works. The negation and criticism of Satan characters and the infatuation and distrust of Eve characters make readers have a clearer understanding of the desolation of American social spirit and the depravity of morality in 1920s. It also makes his theme of the American Dream more profound and unique than that of other writers. At the same time, the application of archetypes makes Fitzgerald's works transcend the specific American society. To become a great work with eternal artistic charm.
