【摘要】：本文試圖從系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)的視角,通過(guò)韓禮德的三大純理功能來(lái)比較狄更斯的小說(shuō)《艱難時(shí)世》的兩個(gè)中譯本的優(yōu)劣得失。 《艱難時(shí)世》是19世紀(jì)英國(guó)批判現(xiàn)實(shí)主義小說(shuō)家狄更斯的代表作之一。作者通過(guò)對(duì)語(yǔ)言純理功能的良好把握,用精心選擇的語(yǔ)言手段生動(dòng)展示了各式人物形象與價(jià)值觀念。是否能在中文中繼續(xù)保持這種對(duì)語(yǔ)言功能和語(yǔ)言手段的把握和從而再現(xiàn)這種形象與觀念成了判斷中文譯本成敗的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。 本文將運(yùn)用韓禮德的純理功能理論,從概念功能、人際功能和語(yǔ)篇功能三個(gè)層次來(lái)分析狄更斯的《艱難時(shí)世》,并由此比較其兩個(gè)中文譯本。本文的結(jié)論是：純理功能理論可以幫助譯者更好地把握作者選擇語(yǔ)言的意圖,從而更好地在譯文中通過(guò)功能保持來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)這種意圖,因此對(duì)翻譯工作是一個(gè)有益的幫助。
[Abstract]:From the perspective of systemic functional linguistics, this paper attempts to compare the merits and demerits of the two Chinese versions of Dickens' novel hard time through Halliday's three pure functions. Hard times is one of the masterpieces of British critical realism novelist Dickens in 19th century. The carefully chosen language means are used to vividly display the various images and values of the characters. Whether or not we can maintain this kind of grasp of the language function and the language means in Chinese and thus reproduce this image and concept becomes the judgment in the judgment. The criteria for the success or failure of a translation. This article will use Halliday's theory of pure theory of function, from the concept of function, The interpersonal function and textual function are used to analyze Dickens'"hard times", and the two Chinese versions are compared. The conclusion of this paper is that the theory of pure logical function can help the translator to better grasp the author's intention to choose a language. Therefore, it is a useful help to the translation work.
