【摘要】：美國文學(xué)對身份問題一直頗為關(guān)注,身份問題也是華裔美國文學(xué)中的一個熱門話題。華裔作家伍慧明的中篇小說《骨》就圍繞身份困惑講述了舊金山唐人街中一個華人家庭的故事,折射出兩代人在身份問題上的不同選擇。自發(fā)表后,國內(nèi)外對這部小說的文學(xué)批評大概分為三類：女性主義,后殖民主義以及精神分析。此外,也有一些學(xué)者從文化差異和象征主義的角度分析該小說。然而,還沒有人從敘事順序,敘事時距和敘事頻率的敘事時間角度深入討論這本小說中華裔美國人身份認(rèn)同的問題。在小說的結(jié)構(gòu)上,伍慧明大膽地運用交錯的時間結(jié)構(gòu),試探性地對故事時間進行分解和重組,組成一種復(fù)雜的,更具凝聚力的敘述解構(gòu),故事中人物的身份困惑在這種敘事結(jié)構(gòu)中被生動地展現(xiàn)出來。 本論文將華裔的身份認(rèn)同與熱奈特的敘事時間理論相結(jié)合,著重討論作品中不同人物的身份認(rèn)同如何在敘述順序,敘述時距與敘述頻率表現(xiàn)出來。首先,在時序的安排上,作者在建構(gòu)故事主體時,大量運用了逆時序中的倒敘和預(yù)敘手法,但她在打亂故事時序的同時,始終沒能忘記凸顯故事歷時進程,從而表現(xiàn)了因襲于傳統(tǒng)的向心敘事結(jié)構(gòu)。在這種敘事結(jié)構(gòu)下,以第一代移民父親里昂為代表的身份迷失現(xiàn)象被生動地表現(xiàn)出來。其次,在時距問題上,根據(jù)故事時間與敘述時間的關(guān)系,分別探討了作品中四種敘述速度：概述,場景,停頓與省略。再現(xiàn)出第一代女性移民母親的身份的迷失以及第二代移民在身份認(rèn)同上的不同選擇。最后,在頻率問題上,重點討論《骨》中出現(xiàn)的一種頻率：多次敘述發(fā)生一次的事件。故事中二女兒安娜的死貫穿全文,折射出第二代華裔在兩種文化夾縫中對身份問題的困惑與迷茫。 本論文最后得出結(jié)論,華裔群體,作為美國的一支不可忽視的少數(shù)族裔,在東西方兩種文化的碰撞中生存。面對身份認(rèn)同問題,華裔新生代需要接受作為族裔所擁有的雙重文化背景,并構(gòu)建一種兼容并蓄的華裔美國文化從而真正解決美國華裔新生代的身份困惑。
[Abstract]:American literature has been paying close attention to the issue of identity. Identity is also a hot topic in Chinese American literature. Chinese writer Wu Huiming's novella Bone tells the story of a Chinese family in San Francisco's Chinatown. Since its publication, literary criticism of the novel at home and abroad has been divided into three categories: feminism, post-colonialism and psychoanalysis. There are also some scholars who analyze the novel from the perspective of cultural differences and symbolism. However, no one has yet analyzed it from the perspective of narrative sequence. From the perspective of narrative time and narrative frequency, the author discusses the issue of Chinese-American identity in this novel. In the structure of the novel, Wu Hui-ming boldly uses the staggered time structure. The story time is decomposed and reorganized tentatively to form a complex and more cohesive narrative deconstruction in which the identity confusion of the characters in the story is vividly displayed. This thesis combines Chinese identity with Genett's narrative time theory, and focuses on how the different characters' identity in the narrative sequence, narrative time interval and narrative frequency. First of all. In the arrangement of time sequence, the author used a lot of reverse chronological flashback and pre-narration techniques in the construction of the main body of the story, but she did not forget to highlight the diachronic process of the story while disrupting the timing of the story. In this narrative structure, the phenomenon of identity loss represented by the first generation of immigrant father Lyon is vividly displayed. Secondly, on the issue of time interval. According to the relationship between story time and narrative time, this paper discusses four kinds of narration speed in the works: summary, scene. Pause and ellipsis. Reappear the lost status of the first generation of female immigrant mother and the different choice of the second generation of immigrant in identity. Finally, on the issue of frequency. Focus on the occurrence of a frequency in "Bone": repeated narration of an event. The story of the death of his second daughter An Na throughout the full text. It reflects the confusion and confusion of the second generation Chinese about identity in the gap between the two cultures. Finally, this thesis concludes that the Chinese ethnic group, as an important minority in the United States, exists in the collision of the two cultures of the East and the West and faces the problem of identity. The new generation of Chinese need to accept the dual cultural background as an ethnic group and construct an inclusive Chinese American culture so as to truly solve the identity confusion of the new generation of Chinese Americans.
