【摘要】：拉爾夫·埃里森是美國黑人作家,1952年出版的小說《看不見的人》獲得了1953年的國家圖書獎(jiǎng),這部小說因被稱作現(xiàn)代黑人生活劃時(shí)代的史詩而一舉成名。小說被認(rèn)作是自二戰(zhàn)以來最具影響力的黑人小說之一,在20世紀(jì)美國文學(xué)史上占有非常重要的地位。 身份話題是黑人作家經(jīng)久不衰的主題,小說《看不見的人》也不例外。小說描述了一個(gè)在白人社會(huì)遭受歧視的黑人年輕人的經(jīng)歷。自小說出版以來，就有許多批評(píng)家從后殖民主義的視角對(duì)其進(jìn)行研究。小說探討了黑人在美國的“看不見”，大多批評(píng)家關(guān)注的是小說主人公以及他身邊的男性角色，而很少會(huì)注意到小說中的女性人物。國內(nèi)外學(xué)者忽視小說中女性形象,正如男權(quán)社會(huì)中男性對(duì)女性的忽視。小說中提到了近20位女性人物，大多數(shù)都是無名無姓，被忽視，被隱沒了聲音，正如小說開篇主人公所敘述的“我是看不見的人”,她們就是看不見的女人,因?yàn)椤叭藗兙芙^看見我”。 眾多的女性形象給讀者留下了深刻的印象。女人在男性為主導(dǎo)的社會(huì)中的弱勢(shì)地位就像黑人在白人社會(huì)中的地位。在以男性為主導(dǎo)的社會(huì)中，像小說中的主人公一樣，女性也丟失了自我身份成為了“看不見的人”。本論文將從女性主義的視角探討小說中的女性形象，并分析這些女性形象形成的原因，以為小說的解讀提供一個(gè)不同的視角。 這篇論文分為五部分,首先是對(duì)小說家埃里森的生平和小說《看不見的人》的寫作背景簡(jiǎn)介，而對(duì)于小說的研究，大部分評(píng)論家都是從采用意識(shí)形態(tài)和后殖民主義的視角，對(duì)于小說人物的研究主要是對(duì)男性主人公和他身邊的男性形象進(jìn)行研究，小說中的女性形象少有人研究，Stanford主要分析了小說中的Mary這一母親形象，Sylvander將小說中的女形象分作兩類：母親形象和誘惑者形象，分析了幾位女性形象。第一章是理論依據(jù),這一章將對(duì)女性主義的發(fā)展歷程和對(duì)Woolf，Beauvoir和Millett主要女性主義觀點(diǎn)和女性主義概念---父權(quán)制進(jìn)行梳理。第二章選取了小說中部分女性人物進(jìn)行分析，并指出Ellison筆下女性形象并未如Sylvander所認(rèn)為的完全落入男性視角的俗套-----女性不是母性形象就是誘惑者形象，而是有著豐富多面的性格特征的，Ellison正是通過這些女性形象來說明以男性為主導(dǎo)的社會(huì)對(duì)女性壓制和對(duì)女性的規(guī)約。第三章主要從四個(gè)方面分析了Ellison的女性形象的成因：母親和妻子的影響，他作為黑人的身份，女性主義思想的影響以及對(duì)主人公形象塑造和小說主題的考慮。最后是對(duì)小說中女性形象研究的總結(jié)。根據(jù)上述分析，，可以得知，埃里森對(duì)女性更多的是持同情態(tài)度的。
[Abstract]:Ralph Erichsen , an American black writer , won the National Library Award in 1953 . The novel was named as a epic in the age of modern black life . The novel was recognized as one of the most influential black novels ever since World War II , which has a very important position in the history of American literature in the 20th century . The topic of identity is the enduring theme of black writers , and the Invisible Man is no exception . The novel describes the experience of a black young man who has been discriminated against in the white society . Since the novel has been published , many critics have studied it from the perspective of post - colonialism . Most critics focus on the female characters in the novel . Most of the critics have ignored the female image in the novel . Most of them are anonymous , neglected , and hidden . As the novel opens up the hero , " I ' m invisible " , they are invisible women , because " people refuse to see me " . Many female images give readers a deep impression . Women ' s weak position in a male - dominated society is like the status of a black in a white society . In a male - dominated society like the hero in a novel , women also lose their self - identity as " invisible people . " This thesis will explore the female image in the novel from the perspective of feminism , and analyze the reasons for the formation of these female images to provide a different perspective for the interpretation of the novel . This thesis is divided into five parts : Firstly , it is a brief introduction to the writing background of the author ' s life and the novel ' s Invisible Man ' s image . In the second chapter , most of the critics have studied the female characters in the novel . The chapter 1 is the theoretical basis . This chapter analyzes the female image in the novel : the mother and wife . The first chapter is the summary of the female image research in the novel .
