【摘要】：瑪格麗特·阿特伍德（1939—）被公認(rèn)為是當(dāng)代加拿大文壇上最重要的文學(xué)巨人之一，著名的詩(shī)人、小說(shuō)家、文學(xué)評(píng)論家。由于對(duì)加拿大文學(xué)發(fā)展所做的杰出貢獻(xiàn)，阿特伍德被譽(yù)為“加拿大文學(xué)女王”。 本篇論文選取瑪格麗特·阿特伍德早期的兩部作品《可以吃的女人》和《浮現(xiàn)》進(jìn)行對(duì)比研究。將這兩部小說(shuō)放在一起研究有如下兩個(gè)原因：第一，它們的主題相似，探討的是知識(shí)女性如何在男權(quán)社會(huì)的強(qiáng)權(quán)之下沖破迷惘，彷徨的困境，踏上追求自我身份的征途。第二，這兩本小說(shuō)從兩個(gè)方面探討了女主人公們追求自我身份的方式，，全面地揭示了阿特伍德的女性主義思想，即女性的生存觀點(diǎn)。 本文從女性主義視角對(duì)小說(shuō)《可以吃的女人》和《浮現(xiàn)》中的女主人公進(jìn)行細(xì)致的分析與對(duì)比，從三個(gè)方面來(lái)探討阿特伍德筆下的知識(shí)女性走出困境，尋找自我身份時(shí)所體現(xiàn)的異同。這三個(gè)方面體現(xiàn)在：女性在男權(quán)社會(huì)中所受迫害程度的異同；女性在追求自我身份，實(shí)現(xiàn)身份重構(gòu)時(shí)所采取的方式的異同；本論文嘗試得出這樣一種結(jié)論：無(wú)論女主人公處于何種不同的受害者境地，一旦她們踏上追求自我身份的征途，她們的目標(biāo)和結(jié)局是相似的——自我重建。本文也將為這兩部小說(shuō)的研究提供一個(gè)全新的，深刻的視角，讓更多的人關(guān)注當(dāng)今社會(huì)中存在的女性問(wèn)題。
[Abstract]:Margaret Atwood is recognized as one of the most important literary giants in contemporary Canadian literature, a famous poet and novelist. Literary critic. For his outstanding contribution to the development of Canadian literature, Atwood is known as the Queen of Canadian Literature. This paper takes Margaret Atwood's two early works, Edible Women, and emerging, for a comparative study. There are two reasons why the two novels are put together: first. Their themes are similar, exploring how intellectual women under the power of the patriarchal society break through the dilemma of confusion and loss, and embark on the quest for self-identity. Second. The two novels probe into the ways in which heroines pursue their self-identity from two aspects and fully reveal Atwood's feminist thought which is the viewpoint of women's existence. From the perspective of feminism, this paper makes a detailed analysis and comparison of the heroines in the novel "Edible woman" and "emerging", and discusses from three aspects that intellectual women in Atwood's works are out of trouble. The similarities and differences in the search for self-identity. These three aspects are: the similarities and differences of the degree of persecution of women in the male-dominated society; The similarities and differences of the ways that women adopt in the pursuit of self-identity and the realization of identity reconstruction; This thesis attempts to draw such a conclusion: no matter what kind of victim situation the heroine is in, once they embark on the journey of pursuing their own identity. Their goals and outcomes are similar-self-reconstruction. This paper will also provide a new and profound perspective for the study of these two novels, and let more people pay attention to the problems of women in today's society.
