【摘要】:托馬斯·哈代在小說史上是位重要的作家,他的小說在我國乃至世界范圍內(nèi)都擁有眾多的讀者。歷史上對哈代小說的評價不斷推陳出新。我國學(xué)界側(cè)重對哈代小說內(nèi)容的研究,在思想意義、人物形象塑造等方面予以褒揚(yáng),對哈代獨特的小說形式特點缺乏關(guān)注,尤其是沒有注意到哈代嚴(yán)肅的命運觀這一主導(dǎo)思想反映在他的小說創(chuàng)作中,從而給小說形式帶來的極大影響。本文從哈代全部小說作品出發(fā),探討他的小說形式技巧的形成及意義。 本文緒論部分交待了哈代生平、創(chuàng)作背景,及全部的小說作品和主要詩歌作品。然后關(guān)注了國外及國內(nèi)對哈代小說的重要研究成果,進(jìn)而對這些文獻(xiàn)情況予以分析概述。最后交待了本論文的研究重點和意義。 第一章分析哈代小說形式的形成及主要特征。首先從哈代的早期小說《窮人與貴婦》、《非常手段》、《綠蔭下》、《遠(yuǎn)離塵囂》觀察作者創(chuàng)作之初在情節(jié)結(jié)構(gòu)模式上的傾向性,即與戲劇形式的密切聯(lián)系,在人物形象和故事情節(jié)上追求戲劇化,以此贏得市場。從而歸納出哈代小說情節(jié)的悲劇性特征,及這種悲劇性在現(xiàn)代視野的觀照下表現(xiàn)出的反諷意味。 第二章探討哈代的命運觀及其小說的情節(jié)設(shè)計。通過重點分析《德伯家的苔絲》和《無名的裘德》,本文認(rèn)為哈代是一位極具命運意識的創(chuàng)作者,他將對宇宙人生的思考視為小說創(chuàng)作的使命,同時將他本人的命運觀注入了對小說情節(jié)的構(gòu)造之中。這使得小說的情節(jié)設(shè)計處處圍繞命運變化的線索,同時訴諸強(qiáng)烈的情感,在整個小說風(fēng)格上形成一種崇高悲壯的敘事效果。 第三章討論哈代小說的“獨白”性質(zhì)。在強(qiáng)烈的命運觀主題下,哈代小說“全知全能”的敘述方式不僅代替人物發(fā)表言論,而且直接對人物行動發(fā)表評論,呈現(xiàn)出“獨白”性質(zhì)。作者的聲音遮蔽了人物豐富的心理現(xiàn)實及其變化,從而導(dǎo)致人物的不可信。還有在故事情節(jié)上,為了追求戲劇式整一,作者大量使用“突發(fā)事件”、巧合與懸念推動情節(jié)發(fā)展,造成劇烈的戲劇化矛盾沖突,這在一方面有利于小說情節(jié)跌宕起伏、懸念頻生,另一方面帶來敘述語調(diào)的矛盾、滑稽及夸張、失真。 結(jié)語部分結(jié)合當(dāng)代文學(xué)作品,同時引入當(dāng)代文藝?yán)碚撘暯?從現(xiàn)實生活和藝術(shù)風(fēng)格兩方面的變化來審視哈代小說戲劇式的情節(jié)結(jié)構(gòu)及強(qiáng)大的命運主題呈現(xiàn)出的悖論。哈代在世紀(jì)末的潮流中堅持用藝術(shù)表現(xiàn)人生,表達(dá)對人類命運的思考與關(guān)注,充滿了令人崇敬的悲壯力量,同時帶來藝術(shù)形式上不可避免的損失。
[Abstract]:Thomas Hardy is an important writer in the history of fiction. His novels have a large number of readers in our country and even in the world. The historical evaluation of Hardy's novels is constantly emerging. Our academic circles focus on the content of Hardy's novels in the ideological significance. The characters are praised and paid attention to Hardy's unique novel form characteristics, especially he does not pay attention to Hardy's serious view of fate, which is reflected in his novel creation. This paper discusses the formation and significance of Hardy's novel form skills from the perspective of all of Hardy's novels. The introduction of this article describes Hardy's life, background, and all of his novels and main poetry works. Then it focuses on the important research results of Hardy's novels both at home and abroad. Finally, the research focus and significance of this paper are described. The first chapter analyzes the formation and main characteristics of Hardy's novel form. Firstly, from Hardy's early novels "Poor and Lady", "extraordinary means", "under the shade". Far from the crowd, the author observes the tendency of the author in the plot structure mode at the beginning of his creation, that is, the close connection with the form of drama, and the pursuit of dramatization in the characters and storylines. In order to win the market, the tragic features of Hardy's novel plot and the irony of this tragedy in the view of modern vision are summed up. The second chapter discusses Hardy's view of fate and the plot design of his novel. Through the analysis of Tess of the Decaux and Jude of the nameless, the author thinks that Hardy is a creator with great sense of destiny. He regards the thinking of the universe and life as the mission of the novel creation, and at the same time infuses his own view of fate into the structure of the novel plot, which makes the plot design of the novel revolve around the clue of the fate change everywhere. At the same time, appeals to the strong emotion, forms a kind of noble tragic narrative effect in the whole novel style. The third chapter discusses the "monologue" nature of Hardy's novels. Under the theme of a strong view of fate, Hardy's "all-knowing omnipotence" not only takes the place of characters to make comments, but also comments on their actions directly. The author's voice obscures the rich psychological reality of the characters and their changes, which leads to the disbelief of the characters, as well as the pursuit of theatrical wholeness in the storyline. The author uses "unexpected events" in a large amount, coincidences and suspense promote the development of plot, resulting in dramatic contradictions and conflicts, which on the one hand is conducive to the ups and downs of the novel plot, suspense frequently. On the other hand, it brings contradiction, antics, exaggeration and distortion of the narrative tone. The conclusion part combines the contemporary literature works and introduces the contemporary literature and art theory angle at the same time. This paper examines the paradox of the dramatic plot structure and the powerful destiny theme of Hardy's novels from the changes of real life and artistic style. Hardy insists on using art to express his life in the trend of the end of the century. The expression of concern for the fate of human beings is full of worshiping tragicomania and inevitable loss in art form.
