【摘要】：作為當(dāng)代移居美國的華僑文學(xué)的代表性作家,哈金非母語創(chuàng)作的作品屢獲美國文學(xué)各大獎項,尤其是《等待》,竟然獲兩次大獎。但是,在國內(nèi),哈金及其作品卻備受爭議,甚至對其作品的“中國故事”的異域情調(diào)(尤其是大量涉及“文革”)以及不純正的英語都作了否定性的批判,認為這是哈金在特意迎合西方讀者的口味。這個現(xiàn)象值得我們關(guān)注和思索。 本論文以哈金最富盛名的《等待》為研究對象,通過文本細讀方法,結(jié)合前人的研究成果,從選材、語言特色、敘事手法以及表現(xiàn)的主題等幾個方面對《等待》的寫作策略進行了研究分析：首先,作為移民作家哈金在《等待》中用英語訴說的不是多數(shù)移民作家抒發(fā)移民苦悶的“移民故事”,而書寫的是“中國故事”。其次,哈金用來創(chuàng)作的英語極具特色,帶有極強的漢語特征。第三,在后現(xiàn)代寫作技巧橫行的當(dāng)代,哈金仍然堅持寫實主義路線,采用的竟然是客觀自然的敘事手法。第四,《等待》的故事雖然取材中國,但它體現(xiàn)的主題,卻是世界性的——自我問題的探導(dǎo)。 經(jīng)過研究,本文作者認為,哈金在《等待》中運用的書寫策略獨具風(fēng)格,他因此成功地把世界性與中國性進行了融合。從這個角度出發(fā),我們會發(fā)現(xiàn),哈金其實是一個具有全球特性的作家。此研究,為解讀哈金現(xiàn)象做出一些新的嘗試,不至于再以一些偏頗的眼光去看待哈金及其作品。此外,還可以為華人移民文學(xué)如何在世界范圍內(nèi)獲得更多的讀者,甚至是提高中國文學(xué)在世界的影響力,提供了一定的借鑒意義。
[Abstract]:As a representative writer of overseas Chinese literature in the United States, Harkin's non-native works have won many awards in American literature, especially "waiting for". However, in China, he has won two awards. However, Harkin and his works have been controversial, and have even made negative criticism on the exotic tone of his works "Chinese Story" (especially on a large number of the "Cultural Revolution") as well as on the impure English. It is considered that Harkin is deliberately catering to the tastes of Western readers. This phenomenon deserves our attention and reflection. This thesis takes Hajin's most famous "waiting" as the research object, through the text reading method, unifies the predecessor's research result, selects the material, the language characteristic. The narrative techniques and the theme of the performance of several aspects of the "waiting for" writing strategies were studied and analyzed: first of all. As an immigrant writer, what Harkin tells in English is not the "immigrant story" that most immigrant writers express their distress, but the "Chinese story". The English used by Harkin is very distinctive and has strong Chinese characteristics. Thirdly, in the modern era of postmodern writing skills, Harkin still adheres to the realism line. Although the story of 4th, "waiting" is taken from China, but it embodies the theme, it is the world of self-problem guidance. Through the research, the author thinks that the writing strategy used by Harkin in "waiting" has a unique style, so he has successfully combined cosmopolitan and Chinese sex. From this perspective, we will find out. Harkin is in fact a writer with global characteristics. This study makes some new attempts to interpret the Harkin phenomenon, so as not to look at Harkin and his works in a biased way. It can also provide some reference for Chinese immigrant literature to gain more readers in the world and even to improve the influence of Chinese literature in the world.
