【摘要】：約翰·斯坦貝克是二十世紀(jì)美國(guó)最重要的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義作家之一。作為自幼熟知《圣經(jīng)》的作家,斯坦貝克的文學(xué)創(chuàng)作深受《圣經(jīng)》的影響,其《人鼠之間》中明顯存在模仿《圣經(jīng)》常見(jiàn)主題的痕跡。本文運(yùn)用互文性理論重點(diǎn)探討《人鼠之間》與《圣經(jīng)》在主題方面的互文性關(guān)系,旨在分析該小說(shuō)對(duì)《圣經(jīng)》主題的模仿。 除緒論和結(jié)論外,本論文共分為三章。第一章著重分析《人鼠之間》對(duì)《圣經(jīng)》中失去伊甸園和重建伊甸園這一主題的模仿。以《圣經(jīng)》中亞當(dāng)和夏娃被逐出伊甸園的故事為切入點(diǎn),《人鼠之間》再現(xiàn)了《圣經(jīng)》中的伊甸園場(chǎng)景,并對(duì)小說(shuō)中人物對(duì)美好伊甸園式家園的憧憬和不懈追求進(jìn)行了模仿。第二章主要論證《人鼠之間》對(duì)《圣經(jīng)》中流浪和孤獨(dú)主題的模仿,認(rèn)為該小說(shuō)再現(xiàn)和模仿了《圣經(jīng)》中關(guān)于該隱和亞伯的故事,小說(shuō)中的人物也背負(fù)著人類(lèi)始祖被上帝懲罰并從此永遠(yuǎn)流浪他鄉(xiāng)的詛咒,并忍受孤苦無(wú)助的生活境況。第三章主要闡釋《人鼠之間》對(duì)《圣經(jīng)》中的墮落與拯救主題的模仿。借由《圣經(jīng)》中人類(lèi)始祖墮落卻依舊得到上帝庇護(hù)和拯救的故事,以及《新約》中宣揚(yáng)的基督教教義,本文作者發(fā)現(xiàn),《人鼠之間》中人物(卡爾森,科萊和威特)墮落的心理和頹廢的生活深深印刻著《圣經(jīng)》中墮落和原罪的痕跡,而懷有夢(mèng)想和希望的人(喬治,萊尼,坎迪)渴望通過(guò)勤勞和努力被上帝拯救。 通過(guò)模仿《圣經(jīng)》中的這幾個(gè)主題,斯坦貝克在《人鼠之間》中傳達(dá)了他本人濃厚的基督教信仰以及《圣經(jīng)》對(duì)他創(chuàng)作的影響。從互文性這一角度解讀《人鼠之間》對(duì)《圣經(jīng)》常見(jiàn)主題的模仿有助于讀者更好地理解和把握該小說(shuō)深刻的主題內(nèi)涵。
[Abstract]:John Steinbeck is one of America ' s most important realistic writers in the twentieth century . As a writer who is well known as the Bible writer , Steinbeck ' s literary creation is deeply influenced by the Bible . In chapter 1 , the author finds out that the characters ( Carpaulson , Collet , and Witt ) in the Bible have been punished by God . The characters in the novel also bear the curse of God ' s refuge and salvation . In the second chapter , the author finds that the characters ( Carson , Collet and Witt ) in the novels of the Bible are deeply influenced by God ' s death and salvation . In chapter three , the author finds that the characters ( Carpaulson , Collet and Witter ) in the novels of the Bible are deeply impressed with the traces of the degeneration and the sins of the Bible , and those who have dreams and hope ( George , Lenny , and Candie ) are eager to be saved by God through hard work and effort . Through the imitation of these themes in the Bible , Steinbeck conveys his strong Christian faith and the influence of the Bible on his creation . The interpretation of the common theme of the Bible from the perspective of intertextuality can help the reader to better understand and grasp the profound theme connotation of the novel .
