【摘要】：本文以認(rèn)知語言學(xué)中萊考夫和約翰遜的概念隱喻理論作為基礎(chǔ),對美籍華人女作家譚恩美的代表作《喜福會》中的概念隱喻進(jìn)行分析。作者通過小說語言表達(dá)和敘事結(jié)構(gòu)等方面總結(jié)歸納文本中出現(xiàn)的概念隱喻,并結(jié)合故事主題,文化內(nèi)涵及作者背景等元素,進(jìn)行深入探究分析,試圖闡釋作品中概念隱喻的使用源于譚恩美特殊的成長經(jīng)歷。作為美籍華人的她接受中西方兩類教育,在跨文化的環(huán)境中成長形成了獨(dú)特思維方式和認(rèn)知機(jī)制。這部自傳體小說中,家族第一代從戰(zhàn)亂的中國輾轉(zhuǎn)移民到達(dá)以白人文化為主流的美國,父母和兒女們都經(jīng)歷著中西方文化、思維方式和生活方式之間的碰撞與融合,使得作品中的概念隱喻運(yùn)用有其特殊之處。本文從認(rèn)知角度探討這些概念隱喻的源域和目標(biāo)域,探尋其經(jīng)驗(yàn)基礎(chǔ)。作家的概念體系形成及其構(gòu)建文本時(shí)概念隱喻的使用是與其成長經(jīng)歷、生活環(huán)境、社會文化背景等因素的關(guān)系是密不可分的。 本文運(yùn)用概念隱喻理論來分析《喜福會》的文本,希望能夠幫助讀者更加客觀、深刻地理解小說所表達(dá)的文化內(nèi)涵與主題思想。正如《我們賴以生存的隱喻》一書中提到,我們的生存離不開隱喻,隱喻貫穿于我們的思維和行為中。希望本文對用概念隱喻理論分析文學(xué)作品有一定的啟示作用。
[Abstract]:This thesis is based on the Conceptual metaphor Theory of Lakoff and Johnson in Cognitive Linguistics. This paper analyzes the conceptual metaphors in Amy Tan's masterpiece the Joy Luck Club. The author summarizes the conceptual metaphors in the text from the aspects of the language expression and narrative structure of the novel. And combined with the story theme, cultural connotation and author background and other elements, in-depth exploration and analysis. This paper attempts to explain that the use of conceptual metaphors in her works originates from Amy Tan's special growth experience. As a Chinese American, she receives both Chinese and Western education. In this autobiographical novel, the first generation of families from war-torn China to the United States, the mainstream of white culture. Both parents and children are experiencing the collision and integration of Chinese and western cultures, ways of thinking and ways of life. This paper explores the source and target domains of conceptual metaphors from a cognitive perspective. The formation of the writer's conceptual system and the use of conceptual metaphor in the construction of the text are closely related to the factors such as his growing up experience, living environment, social and cultural background and so on. This paper uses the conceptual metaphor theory to analyze the texts of Joy Luck Club in order to help the readers to be more objective. Understand the cultural connotation and the theme thought of the novel deeply. As mentioned in metaphor for our existence, we can not survive without metaphor. Metaphor runs through our thinking and behavior. It is hoped that this paper will have some enlightening effect on the analysis of literary works with conceptual metaphor theory.
