【摘要】：托妮·莫里森慣用犀利的筆觸揭示黑人性及其背后的政治性,不管從何種角度論及她的長(zhǎng)篇小說,"歷史"都是始終無法回避的話題。本文認(rèn)為《天堂》中黑人社區(qū)的運(yùn)行模式,與固步自封的傳統(tǒng)文學(xué)文本如出一轍,無法調(diào)動(dòng)讀者參與意義建構(gòu)和闡釋的積極性,在后現(xiàn)代語境中顯而易見是不合時(shí)宜的。論文批判了《天堂》的"美國(guó)例外論"意識(shí)形態(tài),以及其中所包含的黑人種族主義和法西斯主義特質(zhì);它把該小說與美國(guó)外交政策進(jìn)行歷史性關(guān)照,彰顯統(tǒng)治集團(tuán)的權(quán)力話語和主觀意志。通過揭示文學(xué)的歷史性和歷史的文學(xué)性,莫里森明確了黑人民族和其他弱勢(shì)群體建構(gòu)文化身份的有效途徑。
