作為二維平面藝術的書法在符號學中的應用價值

【摘要】:書法是中國的傳統(tǒng)文化形式,,書法的自身性質以及點線面在作品中的體現(xiàn)充分的說明了書法是二維平面藝術,本文在西方的符號學與書法之間尋找共性,總結了書法符號的特性以及在二維平面范疇內對符號學的影響。 書法符號在二維平面設計中的應用結合了書法中“計白當黑”“虛實相生”的一些理論特點,單純在表現(xiàn)形式上對平面設計理念有指導性的影響。書法符號在符號學的語境下,為二維的圖案符號注入了中國文化的血液,雖然書法符號的文化背景與形成過程比較獨特,但是它身兼藝術性與符號性同時在文字象形方面書法符號也有自身的特點,這些特點都是影響二維符號的因素。 本文以分析法,文獻調查法,跨學科研究法綜合分析了書法與符號之間的共性,利用書法理論結合平面設計案例闡述書法象形性與虛實相生的理論價值。作為美學符號的書法,通過“為藝術而藝術”的過程,實現(xiàn)“能指”和“所指”也就是漢字藝術形態(tài)和精神意蘊的同構,書法的符號性質與符號學的理論要求達到統(tǒng)一。在這樣的背景下本文將深入研究作為二維的書法藝術與符號學的關系,中國的“藝術化文字”與西方拼音符號做同一層面的研究,取其共性,雖然在不同的文化背景下產生的符號但是卻有著相同的屬性、功能,并通過書法與符號學的理論交叉點,探討作為二維平面的書法藝術在平面設計中的價值及應用。
[Abstract]:Calligraphy is the traditional cultural form of China. The nature of calligraphy and the embodiment of points, lines and surfaces in the works fully explain that calligraphy is a two-dimensional graphic art. This paper looks for the commonness between semiotics and calligraphy in the West. This paper summarizes the characteristics of calligraphy symbols and its influence on semiotics in the two-dimensional plane category. The application of calligraphy symbols in two-dimensional graphic design combines the theoretical characteristics of "counting white when black" and "living with reality" in calligraphy, and has a instructive effect on the concept of graphic design simply in the form of expression, and the calligraphy symbols are in the context of semiotics. It infuses the blood of Chinese culture into the two-dimensional pictorial symbols. Although the cultural background and forming process of calligraphy symbols are quite unique, they have their own characteristics in terms of both artistic and symbolic characters. These characteristics are the factors that affect the two-dimensional symbols. In this paper, the generality between calligraphy and symbols is analyzed comprehensively by means of analysis, literature investigation and interdisciplinary research. Using calligraphy theory and graphic design case to expound the theoretical value of pictograph and virtual reality in calligraphy. As an aesthetic symbol, calligraphy, through the process of "art for the sake of art", The realization of "signifier" and "signified" is the isomorphism of the artistic form and spiritual implication of Chinese characters, The symbolic nature of calligraphy is unified with the theoretical requirements of semiotics. Under this background, this paper will study the relationship between the art of calligraphy and semiotics in two dimensions. Chinese "artistic characters" and Western Pinyin symbols do the same level of research, take its common, although in different cultural backgrounds produced symbols but have the same attributes, functions, and through calligraphy and semiotics theoretical intersection point, This paper discusses the value and application of calligraphy art as a two-dimensional plane in graphic design.
