語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)是語(yǔ)言文字在一定的公共空間范圍內(nèi)集體呈現(xiàn)出某種外部視覺(jué)特征和特殊地方感的環(huán)境場(chǎng)所。語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)的設(shè)置和完善不僅關(guān)乎國(guó)家和城市的形象,也影響著城市后期發(fā)展。語(yǔ)言規(guī)劃,作為語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)研究的重要視角,特別是語(yǔ)言的選擇和功能的實(shí)施,承載著重要的價(jià)值。我國(guó)語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)研究起步較晚,研究成果尚不豐碩,且大多聚焦公共場(chǎng)所語(yǔ)言標(biāo)牌的翻譯研究,鮮見(jiàn)將具體語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)研究與城市語(yǔ)言規(guī)劃聯(lián)系起來(lái),實(shí)現(xiàn)語(yǔ)言設(shè)置和使用的宏觀(guān)認(rèn)識(shí)與把控。本研究從語(yǔ)言規(guī)劃的視角出發(fā),剖析北京市街道語(yǔ)言景觀(guān),聚焦公共空間和場(chǎng)所內(nèi)的語(yǔ)言使用,分析語(yǔ)言選擇和景觀(guān)類(lèi)型,既能賦予城市語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)的理論研究以現(xiàn)實(shí)意義,又能為構(gòu)建北京市的社會(huì)語(yǔ)言環(huán)境、城市形象、傳播地方文化提供重要參考,還能為其他城市的類(lèi)似研究提供參照。本研究選定的研究地點(diǎn)為北京市三條極具代表性的街道——長(zhǎng)安街、中關(guān)村大街和西單商業(yè)街,依據(jù)Trumper-Hecht的三維空間理論和語(yǔ)言管理理論,通過(guò)拍攝的語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)照片、訪(fǎng)談和語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)相關(guān)法規(guī)文件的整理與分析,從物理空間、生活空間和構(gòu)想空間三個(gè)維度考察北京市的語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)的設(shè)置及其動(dòng)機(jī)。研究表明,中文在北京市這三條具有代表性街道語(yǔ)言景觀(guān)的使用上...
