論E.T.A.霍夫曼藝術(shù)童話《金罐》和《侏儒查赫斯》中的現(xiàn)代性

【摘要】:E.T.A.霍夫曼是德國浪漫派晚期重要作家,一生創(chuàng)作了大量作品,尤以藝術(shù)童話最為人所熟知,F(xiàn)有霍夫曼研究多關(guān)注其作品中出現(xiàn)的二元對立、心理問題、荒誕諷刺等主題,對于其作品中的現(xiàn)代性鮮有研究。本論文從現(xiàn)代性的角度切入,對《金罐》和《侏儒查核斯》進行文本細讀,探究霍夫曼藝術(shù)童話所蘊含的現(xiàn)代危機及其對啟蒙理性的批判與反思,并試圖研究這種現(xiàn)代思想是如何通過童話這一介質(zhì)表現(xiàn)出來的。文章首先對現(xiàn)代性的概念作出梳理,區(qū)分了社會現(xiàn)代性及美學(文學)現(xiàn)代性。本文研究基于美學現(xiàn)代性,即對社會現(xiàn)代性的批判。鑒于社會現(xiàn)代性主要以啟蒙運動的興起為開端,因此文本中的現(xiàn)代性主要體現(xiàn)為對于啟蒙及理性的批判與反思。霍夫曼生活在世紀之交的德國。此時啟蒙運動已經(jīng)歷近一個世紀的發(fā)展,對于理性的過度提倡帶來了一系列惡果。童話中霍夫曼對理性的批判分為外在批判及內(nèi)核批判。外在批判指的是對工具理性所帶來的消極影響的批判,主要表現(xiàn)為《金罐》中主角安澤爾穆斯所經(jīng)歷的生存問題。內(nèi)核批判指的是對啟蒙的核心“理性”的反思,主要表現(xiàn)為身份認同危機、《侏儒查核斯》中的認知危機及三階段的歷史發(fā)展模式。童話中出現(xiàn)的一系列危機表明了現(xiàn)代社會中人所面臨的生存困境,啟蒙理性并未帶來預想中的獨立與自由,反而使人的生存環(huán)境更加惡化;舴蚵谕捴袑硇蕴岢鲑|(zhì)疑,并將藝術(shù)(詩)與情感(愛)看做人類克服危機走向更高階段的必由之路。通過文本分析,論文得出結(jié)論:霍夫曼是一位極具現(xiàn)代性的作家,他以敏銳的觸覺感受到現(xiàn)代性發(fā)展所帶來的一系列危機,在看似輕松易懂的童話中表達了其對啟蒙理性的一系列批判與反思。
[Abstract]:E.T.A. Hoffmann was an important late German Romantic writer who created a lot of works in his life, especially artistic fairy tales. The existing studies of Hoffman focus on the themes of duality, psychological problems and absurd satire in his works, but there is little research on modernity in his works. From the perspective of modernity, this paper makes a close reading of Jin can and Chacons of the gnome, and explores the modern crisis contained in Hoffman's artistic fairy tales and their criticism and reflection on enlightenment rationality. And attempts to study this kind of modern thought through the fairy tale this medium manifests. Firstly, this paper combs the concept of modernity and distinguishes social modernity from aesthetic modernity. This paper studies the criticism of social modernity based on aesthetic modernity. In view of the rise of the Enlightenment, the modernity in the text is mainly reflected in the criticism and reflection of enlightenment and reason. Hoffman lived in Germany at the turn of the century. At this time, the Enlightenment has experienced nearly a century of development, the excessive advocacy of rationality has brought a series of adverse consequences. In fairy tales, Hoffman's criticism of reason is divided into external criticism and inner criticism. External criticism refers to the criticism of the negative influence brought by instrumental rationality, which is mainly manifested in the existence problems experienced by Anselmoth, the protagonist in Gold Tank. The kernel criticism refers to the reflection of the core of enlightenment "rationality", which is mainly manifested in the crisis of identity, the cognitive crisis in "dwarfism" and the three-stage historical development model. The emergence of a series of crises in fairy tales shows the plight of human existence in modern society. Enlightenment reason does not bring the expected independence and freedom, on the contrary, it makes people's living environment worse. Hoffman questioned reason in fairy tales and regarded art (poetry) and emotion (love) as the only way for mankind to overcome the crisis and move to a higher stage. Through text analysis, the paper draws the conclusion that Hoffman is a writer with modernity. He feels a series of crises brought about by the development of modernity with his keen sense of touch. In seemingly easy-to-understand fairy tales, he expresses a series of criticism and reflection on enlightenment reason.
