“翻譯” (本文指文學(xué)翻譯 )的定義在翻譯這門學(xué)科里是個(gè)看似最簡(jiǎn)單的問(wèn)題 ,然而因其在國(guó)內(nèi)和國(guó)外林林總總、各具特色 ,顯露出復(fù)雜、深刻而又色彩斑斕的一面 ,折射出當(dāng)前該學(xué)科領(lǐng)域熱門話題———翻譯理論的種種縮寫(xiě)。當(dāng)翻譯活動(dòng)經(jīng)歷了幾千年悠久的歷史后 ,卻仍無(wú)一條翻譯定義為世人公認(rèn) ,而當(dāng)今世界形形色色的翻譯定義又俯拾即是 ,“這是一個(gè)頗耐玩味的事實(shí)”。在此 ,文章對(duì)這一獨(dú)特的現(xiàn)象作了分析
This paper made an analysis of a random collection of miscomprehensions from translation literature, showing that in the course of interlingual translating, comprehension is of paramount importance and very hard. Based on the analysis, some implications have been drawn for translators, translation theorists and teachers. It has also raised some questions concerning the relationship between translation theory and practice in the hope that due attention should be paid to it.
本文分析了部分翻譯著述中的理解錯(cuò)位實(shí)例 ,說(shuō)明了翻譯過(guò)程中理解的重要和艱難 ,并根據(jù)對(duì)這些實(shí)例的分析得出幾點(diǎn)對(duì)于翻譯工作者、翻譯理論以及外語(yǔ)教學(xué)工作的啟示 ,同時(shí)也提出了幾個(gè)有關(guān)翻譯理論與實(shí)踐方面的問(wèn)題 ,望能引起有關(guān)人員的重視。
